Check maybe you have run out of space in your boot partition. Maybe you have to remove old kernels.

Why is that?

Support financially FOSS developers. And stop using corporate shit.

OpenSuse tumbleweed + kde plasma for a peace of mind 👍

No one ever recommends OpenSuse....

I would wait a bit on Proton. They are working on port forwarding on their Linux app. They have it working on their windows app.

Piped.video

Thanks but not looking for anime rather than regular tv stations streaming online. Worth the shot though.

Ivpn would be your best choice I think. I'm using proton VPN after mullvad abandoned port forwarding (why oh why did they do that!), but their client for Linux is basic but they are developing a new one at the moment. So port forwarding is a bit difficult to setup (but they do have it).

GrapheneOS. Everything works, securely.

Many years ago I used XMPP with Prosody and it was ok.

  • You can setup some retention time for attachments and history depending on the space you have.
  • There are clients for multiple platforms but not very much advanced vs competition.
  • Security is good with omemo protocol. In so e clients you have to turn it on since it's not by default.
  • Audio video calls on one to one is good as long as you setup stun coturn server. Android to iOS calls still in progress.
  • Check out Snikket for an all in one solution.

You might want to also consider Matrix (dendrite option ?) for your needs.

You might also wanna check yunohost.org . It's a well organized self hosting platform where you can install with few clicks and has huge amount of Foss apps, including office and media ones and Nextcloud that others suggested.

I tested a Pixel 8pro with GrapheneOS. The lag is awful for a device of such high price. Totally unacceptable. And it's not GrapheneOS fault I believe.

Check out windscribe, they have port forwarding. Proton is great too. If you're on windows setting up port forwarding with their app is a breeze vs Linux which they are developing better at current.

Sorry haven't had coffee yet. So in short:

Proton has port forwarding but difficult to setup on Linux. They are developing a Linux client more feature rich where hopefully oort forwarding will be an ease just like the windows client they have. Ipvns client for linux I think has this feature but needs verification since last time I looked was more than I months ago.

Yup, that is correct. In the past NHK World had an Android app, but no more.

Hold my beer:

Mastodon them from here at @protonvpn@mastodon.social

Debian 11 for my personal server, openSUSE tumbleweed for my personal use. Debian for stability and openSUSE for the latest and greatest of KDE plasma desktop environment!

You might be wanna check out Floorp web browser. A fork of Firefox which implements sidebars and other interesting elements. Plus it's super fast!

And while doing that it's best practice to create a partition only for /home. Easy to distrohop.

I see. I think that this is happening almost everywhere. Neo-liberalism's tactics are hitting hard societies that are implementing it. But yet again, sell everything and lead a healthy life, where and how...?

As far as I understand, piped servers are using VPNs now to avoid YouTube blocking them.

True! But i can't spend 8 years studying I'm afraid. Need something more let's say immediate.

True, but revolutions usually take place by the few. I think that we just stopped discussing things with each other and just let things be. There will be no divine intervention I think.

Simple calendar Pro rules! Can be also synced via webcal.

It's basically Exynos isn't it? Dunno if it is the chip... battery was good though. Tested it as an internet only phone not for calls etc (no sim card). Also I need to clarify that the lag is not there in all apps but in quite few though. So it must be the architecture of apps and not the chip.

Brother printers and scanners are the best!

If piped is disabled then the app uses direct YouTube links.

They wanna play with AI for Pixels 8 and above, my guess. Online AI processing.

Considering the fact that democracy depends on the contribution of all citizens, surely you would need to learn quite few things since your comment did not contribute anything.
