SSD is soldered to the board. With only 8GB you'll be using the swap partiton a lot so for anything exceeding 8GB of RAM you will be using the SSD as a slower "RAM" which will wear it's lifespan down by constantly writing/reading into it' s swap partition.

Have you tried Fedora recently or are you stuck in its early Wayland days?

I still have my Steam Controller but I was itching for better Gyro after playing with Steam Deck so I picked up PS5 controller for PC after doing some research.

I like the PS5 one quite a lot, it does have nice upgrades over the Steam Controller like the adaptive triggers which work only in some games though and the haptics are sooo much better... But the battery life is a complete joke, it's really annoying.

With SC I've just chucked in two AA batteries and was set for 3 months+ with PS5 controller I can barely get 10h with haptics and got around 15h without haptics.... And it takes ages to charge too...

The only appeal of this new controller is the touch stick for gyro but other than that this seems quite lackluster imo.

It used to be an insult to mistakenly ask some woman of she's pregnant.

Now pretending to be just fat will be an ultimate defense

This also explains why cars collect our sexual data and genetic material

I do understand that you would remove them if they were also hosted here... But they are hosted on other instances so I don't understand the issue? Is linking to that specific instance via comment the same issue as if they were visible for everyone on this instance? Or even mentioning it now in the OP like it is?

Only thing I use Start button for is to turn off the PC. The search is unusable and all shortcuts are in my task bar anyways.

I started planning procrastination as a daily activity I need to do. And I don't really wanna, so I stopped.

It's only DRM if publishers/devs choose so. BG3 for example is DRM free even on Steam. If you run the executable the Steam will not even attempt to launch and game will run just fine.

I fear not the man who has received 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has received one kick 10,000 times.

Since the chance to guess the correct numbers is so low that it's almost guaranteed you made a bad guess... Just change the guess to increase your odds.

€200 for Vampire Survivors?

I agree, that's why I said I'd need to retest on W11 to confirm. I'm really going based on the clock vs power used behavior. The card consistently clocks higher within the same power budget on Linux.

I don't know how accurate the reported clock speeds from Mangohud are though.

IDK how big the performance vs Windows is exactly... FPS wise. All games seem to run really well and roughly in the same ball park.

The frame pacing on Linux is immaculate though. At least in the games I play and tried.

Oh great.... I'm sure this will work perfectly with no issues at all. Like for example a word "French" being censored as a bad word in Age of Empires IV where you can play French so if you want to communicate with people you get censored for no reason...

I use these at work where I have to use ear plugs. I hate in-ear headphones and these work perfect for my niche. Also get 2 workdays worth of battery life from these.

What I find a great bonus is that the mic on them does not pick any of the 80dB+ noise around me when I'm making calls. Also comfortable to the point that I sometimes forget I even wear them.

Also a physical button for pause/play so I don't have to take off my gloves.

I find the default EQ quite bad with earplugs so I just use the parametric Wavelet EQ SW on my Android phone with quick preset for my other Sony WH1000XM3... Which sounds great on these as well especially for voices/vocals as I tend to listen to audio books.

I prefer this. I've been annoyed by having to go to the settings every time I wanted to swap device I want to connect to. I rarely turn off BT anyways.

TBF I kind of got used to portrait videos but I still block YT shorts and alike as most videos in that format are garbage anyways.
