I saw that one, but it seems like it's just a place to post pictures of the bread that people had made whereas I'd like this one to be more about sharing recipes and techniques. I love looking at other people's bread, but I love making it myself even more :)
I didn’t see a paywall when I clicked on the link, but you can try this:
From what I understand in how federation works, you shouldn’t need to join any other communities as they will all show up here. If you go to the All tab (rather than local or subscribed) you should see a ton of other stuff coming in. Then you should be able to subscribe, block or just ignore things. Once you have subscribed to quite a few communities then the subscribed becomes more useful to keep up on the things you are really interested in.
I didn’t see it listed in the comments but Stopthe Madness is the best extension I use, helps with YouTube but also other sites:

I use Reeder (https://apps.apple.com/app/id1529445840) on my iPad and iPhone. Before it allowed you to subscribe I was using Feedly.
Are you saying that I’d get better results with a 12 or 13th gen processor than with an older dGPU? Interesting I hadn’t even thought of going this route. Always considered a dGPU was the best way to go.
Chances are I’ll end up over there. So thank you for the heads up. 😀
Ah. I don’t know if this helps, but you can see all the communities for a given server and search. It’s hard to know what to search for sometimes, but for the most part it should have relevant keywords. I think you can also search All which will sow results from all fediverse instances.
Tears of the Kingdom Question 1: maybe? Not as Link (can’t tell you how many times I’ve died). But as some random person in one of the cities, probably. Bonus: No. Especially since I’m sure I’d be controlled by some human like myself that never got into fighting games. Bonus 2: Nope. With all the faults of this world I love my family too much to leave them all behind.
That’s basically what I’ve been doing using Other Transcode. My concern was that if I have a 4K source and using that would I someday regret it and want to re-encode things?
I use it for digital books and it works great. You can configure it to send a book to an email so it appears automatically. The auto tagging works well too.
Labors reader looks really great. Just wish it had an iOS/android app. I’ll definitely keep it in mind.
Which one did you end up getting? There are quite a few options.
Old enough to know that the real way to ask this question is “asl?”
