Maybe you should actually pay attention?
I wonder if this has anything to do with not being able to load my saves. I went to mars and exited the game after a long gaming session. Came back the next day and I get a full system crash upon trying to load the exit save. Tried the autosaves, same deal. Tried my last normal save, same deal. Every once in about 5-6 full system crashes I can reload one of the saves from just landing on mars but if I try to enter caledonia then it's a full system crash. It's weird too, I can still hear the game running in a loop but I can tell there is no input and the graphics fully fail. Very frustrating. I finally got back to my main rig to be able to play and the game has just been straight not playable since about the day after it came out. Can't even get a hotfix from Bethesda. Bummer. I'll just have to wait to play it again. I'm not going to restart a new character just to run into the same thing.
Same type of news as when a chain restaurant in other countries has people getting sick from tainted supplies.
This is so stupid that I love it.
Did you try doing it while in desktop mode? Game mode defaults to the steam deck native resolution but that can be overriden with launch setting changes. Desktop mode will output to the display of the external monitor.
Thanks.
Hopefully it runs okay on steam deck. I have a nice desktop at home but I'm usually out of town working and I use my steam deck as my main rig these days until I go back home.
Typing it out I was thinking, wait... I did clarify that I'm a stagehand though. I'm prone to some grammatical mistakes.
Well, it's interesting. I'd try streaming to the steam deck while it's in desktop mode and see if that fixes the display issue. Kinda cool that it holds a 800p resolution but I find it curious that it's not full screen as opposed to the actual 800p but just in the corner.
I'm excited. The demo ran well enough on steam deck that I know it'll be great on my desktop.
I didn't know anyone even remembered this game.
Yep, beat the game and enjoyed my time doing so. 40 fps was good but it would have been better at 60. Still, all around a super fun game.
StarCraft?
No idea why you're being down voted. Ace combat 7 absolutely slaps.
They patched Skyrim, fallout 4 and 76. They are a big enough studio that I have no reason to believe they'd just release it and move on. I'm not talking about changing what the game is. I'm just talking about technical patches to do some bug fixing.
How is it just playing single player?
Phillipines?
Better off dead!
Normally, I'd fully recommend that but I still want to play the game. I was actually really enjoying myself. I'll just wait until they actually issue a patch. I'm a little shocked not even one hotfix has gone out.
Yeah I bet everyone needed a break after they finally launched. Hopefully the r&r helps them come back fresh to knock some of these issues out.
Thanks for the post!
Barony is so so good. And it works really well on steam deck. Gamepad works great. I still have to try out this new update to see how the changes to relative selections works out. They listed that you don't need to be dead on with the cursor for contextual actions to work anymore. Such as opening a chest, or picking up items, that kind of thing. I bought this game a long time ago and it's such a sleeper dungeon crawler.
I really like this game. I think most people play with mouse and keyboard but I found myself too used to the using a controller because I play it on steam deck. You can get pretty into fine tuning your individual parts but I leaving everything stock and just go blast some rocks in space and keep stacking cash.
I'm definitely the weirdo on this one. The fine tuned controlling is way better on m&k but I couldn't get the hang of it. The analog stick for movement felt a lot more intuitive to me but you definitely have considerably less control aim. The lock on feature works pretty well so I make it work.
Emudeck has a really nice tool to mass convert a folder to .chd and as far as the rims go I usually just go to the mega thread on /r/roms or you can go to vimm.com
Maybe try making it an emulation machine? I use mine for both normal PC gaming and emulation while I'm working out of town.
I've been using jerboa, but I downloaded wefwef web app thing and it's also pretty nice. Maybe give that a shot? Either way I think there are just ongoing server issues from the influx of users.
That's where I'm at. I'm excited to be able to play again but I have to wait for however long it takes them to release a patch addressing this. I'm not mad about anything I've seen. But I literally can't play a game that I can't trust to save and be reloaded.
Just the PS5 dual sense or my steam deck itself.
Oh whoops, it was vimm.net. My bad. I honestly wasn't sure. I figured Google would sort it out for anyone just typing in vimm
I just picked up the homework bundle but I've never played them. I also picked up Warhammer 40k mechanicus, which I own on PS5 but I've switched back to PC with the steam deck.
You could try steam rom manager. It allows you to add your roms and/or emulators to your steam list from one app. It comes with emudeck but I think you can get it separately if you don't want to use the rest of emudeck features.
Got em.
Very well, in both game mode and if you plug into a 1080p monitor at a desk.
It's crazy how fun this game is in short bursts but it's also scarily packed with content. I love the little animation cutscenes that they have for bancho and when fulfilling the customer requests.
How is your performance? Are you in desktop outputting to 1080p or are you just in game mode outputting 800p to the TV? I have death stranding on PS5 but I've shelved it to get back to my PC collection and I'm looking to purchase death stranding ce during the summer sale.
I would second dredge. I don't know what it is about sea based games but between this and Dave the diver, I've been really impressed. Just absolutely fun and great looking games.
Yes, +1 for lobotomy corp. I haven't gotten too many days into the game but I've unlocked an additional two or three depts of personnel. Super cool game.
Sunless seas and sunless skies are both pretty sweet. I never got very far because I'd always get caught by some over powered creature before I was ready. I really like both games though.
Take it from an actual stagehand, it's front of house irregardless of venue. I'm sure there are different names but if you work in the industry, that's front of house.
