I used to work overnights and that is exactly what happened. In fall you work an extra hour and get an hour of overtime. In spring your shift would be an hour shorter. The company I worked for still paid us that hour so we got paid for an hour we didn't actually work which was nice.

Maybe lead and micro-plastics? But that's just a guess.

If you work for a company that has a 401k then you need to sign up for it. If the company has a match percentage then that is the absolute minimum you should contribute. And when you are younger you should set it up as a Roth so you pay taxes on it now.

This isn't a thing you should do at a certain age. The younger you start the better. The money just comes out of your paycheck, same as taxes.

I think any content creator that makes content you enjoy. Podcasts, music, whatever. Support whoever makes you happy.

It's not realistic to expect the average user to read and/or understand the TOS when making a purchase like this. The button that you click says buy, not rent until we decide your rental period is over. Shouldn't matter if it's stated in the TOS somewhere.

As far as not spending money on bad platforms, thats what this community is about. All the platforms are proving that they are bad.

I blame Discovery too, but you're right that Sony is to blame. They have an army of lawyers to go over the terms of the agreements. The buyers don't. When I push the button that says buy, that should mean I own it. Not that I'm renting it for some unspecified period of time.

Then I don't want that website.

No. It's the exact opposite. It's your company not putting in the minimum to support it's employees.

It just hit Dan that what Alex is doing isn't funny but dangerous. It was episode 174 where Dan has his realization that Alex has always been super racist and how that affects the things Alex says and does.

When the show started they covered current broadcasts. Soon after they started doing regular time travel episodes where they would put Alex in 'time out' and cover a past episode. Episode 174 is one of those episodes. It's the juxtaposition between the two times that put it all in focus for Dan. If you are looking for best episodes to go back and listen to, 174 is near the top and really addresses your questions.

Enterprise refit. Loved the original Enterprise and the Enterprise D when TNG came out, but there was something magical about seeing the refit on the big screen.

Dark was great. For anyone watching for the first time, Netflix made a great website that helps you keep up with who is who with no spoilers. Select the last episode you've finished and it only gives information to that point.

I want to know if one of his burner accounts is Adrian Dittmann.

Buy the new SSD, load Windows 10, and don't activate the license. Plex will run with no issues.

How are sports a scam?

She should have retired 15 years ago at 75. She helped create this problem.

Knowlage Fight coverd his deposition and it was hilarious.

I don't know about getting tased, but getting tear gassed in the gas chamber is a standard part of basic training.

When I was in we had to requalify every year. You can actually build up a tolerance so its not that bad.

Sports is a very broad term. I am aware of MLBs antitrust exemption. However, that is a unique situation that does not apply across all sports. That's why we have seperte leagues like the NFL and XFL. My kids playing little leugue are not affected by this at all.

As for the 90% of males comment, this is rediculous. It is very possible to both follow and discuss politics while also have other interests. It's not an either or situation. There is nothing wrong with having distractions you enjoy.

I agree that pro sports are subject to massive corruption. But that doesn't make them a scam.

It would reallocate electors as well as congressional seats. Those are both based on population and are already realloated every 10 years.

This is the Playstation TOS.

This is the definition of buy.

Expecting a normal person to read this entire document and realize that they changed the definition of buy about 3/4s of the way down from the dictionary definition is completely unreasonable. Read the entire TOS and list all the gotchas, without knowing which ones they are going to pull, then tell me what makes sense.

Well said. You articulated what I was thinking much better than I did.

Yes. That was Mark Bankston.

Especially the lawn mower scene. One of the greatest cheesy horror films ever.

Exactly what made me think that. If Dan's still not sure...

It was on the daily show. I think it's the second story in the clip.

I hope this is a real step in shutting this asshole down. But I won't believe it until he's really gone. At the very least, I hope this helps the Sandy Hook victems get some compensation.
