Hopefully they survive but this seems to be a self inflicted wound. They destroyed their reputation with the unreliable CVTs and now they are left competing with Stellantis in the subprime market, where deep discounts and risky lending is the only way to move inventory.

I don't rrally care when or if we have labor day as an official holiday. Seems like a pointless token gesture, considering the lack of labor rights and protections in the US.

I agree, It should not be.

Based on my 2020 experience, seeing people whining about not being able to go to Olive Garden, I am pretty sure that the keyboard warriors are not prepared for the inconvenience of living in a war zone.

Best description of NPR that I have ever heard came from Conan O'Brien at a Whitehouse correspondents dinner:

Joking aside though, they do a great job of calmly and rationally talking about controversial topics. The weekend shows can get surprisingly spicy though.

20 year old me would see that as an opportunity for an epic Harold & Kumar inspired road trip.

It might ruffle some feathers at the RNC that he is treating their debate invite like he treats a Congressional subpoena.

Here is to hoping he does. The show has been off the air lately because of the writers' strike but his team arguably does better investigative journalism than many of the big name news outlets.
