When the app I used to access Reddit, Joey for Reddit, went down yesterday I moved to Lemmy. They were working with Reddit to setup paid API access and Reddit shutdown their access mid negotiation. I already had a Lemmy account but didn't use it til now. I know a lot of other Joey users that did the same.
Feeling very lucky in Ocala. We went from being told we'd get nailed with 60 - 70 mph winds and 6" of rain to an inch or 2 of rain and 30 mph winds. That shift north saved us but others will be unprepared because of it.
I live in FL, unfortunately, and a neighbor told me today that the smoke was created by the democrats. They're sending it to FL to try to hurt the Republicans and Trump. When I said it hit the northeast long before it got to Florida she said that just proves they don't mind testing it in their own people. You can't even argue with these people.

What would you consider a habit? I'm honestly very curious. I'm trying to think what things could be done with no thoughr. My brain just doesn't work that way.
I so relate to this. I listen to audiobooks or podcasts all the time because it keeps my brain partially occupied. Forgetting to take meds is a huge issue for me. I'm asthmatic and need to take an inhaler twice a day. I've been using an inhaler for 35 years and I still can't remember regulary. I'm broken.

That helps. Thank you. Those things all take thought and planning for me. I have a travel toothbrush and toothpaste in my purse because I forget to brush my teeth more often that I like to admit. I've been taking an inhaler twice a day for 35 years and I forget frequently.

That's a good question but one I doubt I will ask. I've learned it's not worth going down the rabbit hole with these people. It just encourages them and makes my brain hurt.

I love Podcast Addict. I've been using it for years and it's so customizable. Easily auto downloads the podcasts you want and not for others. I've tried many other podcast apps and nothing compares.
I was raped when I was 14 years old. That was 35 years ago and despite years of therapy I still deal with that trauma. I cannot imagine what this child has gone through, to deal with being raped then forced to give birth to her rapist's baby. My heart goes out to her and her family. Someone needs to let her know she matters.
