The bridge was a main artery for the baltimore region. Not just because of the closing of the shipping channel but because many people would commute from dundalk and middle river to the bwi/DC region for work. Traffic used to be bad, but its a whole new level of unpredictable and round the clock terrible.

Sooo strip trump of his citizenship, and remove the Supreme court members that are in his pocket, reestablish new judges via voting. Create new ammendment that the president can and will be held accountable for breaking the law

So become 100% dependent on foreign trade... thats a stupid thing to do when conflict is potentially right around the corner

My question is who are they asking for these poles?

With how china keeps implanting everything with spyware, I agree to keep them away from the heavy tech incorporated cars. Really wish we could transition away from using chinese shit

Dont tell him, but that requires him to keep the gov open after sept 30th...

Never said that. I said that the title is wrong. Really shows a lack of quality of writing when the title of the article contradicts the article itself

A non-technical person overseeing engineers... riddle me surprised..

Bought mine in March of 2020. Equity on my house is now like $150k and my interest is 3%. Dont want to move but need a bigger house now.

Even the trucks have chrome painted metal bumpers. Always thought it was too much

They emailed about an outage and delayed payments around that time

So basically you have no idea what goes on in the government, but think that feds do nothing all day because someone said all feds are lazy? Its not the feds fault that you have a dead end job making minimum wage..

Federal employees are very underpaid for their positions and skill sets as compared to those who are employed privately. Everyone I know who works in the government are literally living paycheck to paycheck, but stay because of the job security. Federal employees arent the problem to say "fuck them" its those with bloated wallets who run the government that are the problem.

Again you obviously dont know what goes on in the gov. I know people who work 16 hour days 5 days week and still cant put food on the table because of the poor pay. On a side note, do you need a hug?

If they are underpaying for this position, they will always underpay for this position and bitch when you want a raise later on. Honestly, big red flag to me...

Not really true.. the current issue is that contractors are paying damn near double for fed employees. Retention is a hugh deal in the gov.

John Denver confirmed it was written about Clopper rd in Gaithersburg, MD when he would frequent it on his way home to WV.

Feel like there is still room for error, so this needs to be investigated further. Would be a great substitution.

I agree, but in the meantime lets not make it that easy...

I have never heard of that being a thing. I have worked for a contractor, and have plenty of friends who are contractors and they dont stop working or miss a paycheck

Contractors allocate their employees salary and keep it in a pot on the side so that when a furlough happens, everyone is still paid. If that pot dries up, they pull out of overhead or other projects with more money. They never have to worry. Feds have the biggest impact being that 90% of the government relies on these appropriation funds to pay salaries. The last 10% are government functions that handle their funds the same way that contractors do, which prevents furloughing their employees.

That is a horribly misleading headline when the write up clearly says she was 22 and he was 14 at the time. She is 31 now and he is now 22.
