For me I loved Dragon Age 2 beacuse I came from Mass Effect and the streamlined effect totally felt like an ME game to me. Also loved the idea of setting things in one city it was something different. Totally get why people don't like it tho.

No Lemmy ettique missing as there wasn't enough of a community to form anything. I had no issue with the smaller size and all the usual posters I'd see and chat with have dispersed with the larger array of content.

But now you don't get people signing up, talking about the lack of content and disappearing. Or servers set up in hope and shut down - eope.xyz caw.ai Jeremmy.ml or ones that ragequit fapsi.be. And of course wolfballs.

Even if most go back to reddit it will still be an improved space with the servers and communities that remain I think.

Happy brother user here. We had a hp and the bastard had connection troubles then ended up only printing blank pages. Never again.

Great to see he's enthusiastic about it, not sure genpop is though.

It’s more like - what if I just posted here on The Verge, and you could follow me on Mastodon natively? That’s way bigger than ICQ, I think.

The idea you could post from your own business/personal/group website and not have to run through social an intermediary that holds you hostage is a killer feature.

No.

It would have been more interesting as an independent activitpub connected service to help illustrate Fediverse != mastodon. Dont really need another twit app though.

Yep. Compared to W3 felt like more busywork in CP2077

It sounds like there was, but the action seems to have happened on mastodon servers. The quit message can be found here.

Cyberpunk 2077. Was sad when it ended will need to grab PL as by accounts it’s even better.

Yeah it’s detrimental that approaches used in other apps don’t render in mastodon. It weakens the potential of the fediverse, and for those that understand fedi = mastodon. Who knows how it will react to proposals for groups etc.

For the record we went with shine on you crazy diamond from wish you were here with the quiet opening and punch when the rest of the band kicks in. Sounded great.

What an interesting story sounds like an easy recommend for the deck.

I enjoyed the game, both the story and the mechanics. The boss fights felt epic. I wouldn't rave about it though as like death stranding I don't think it's for everyone.

Learning new things - thanks

Definitely worth checking out friendica.

Apparently Rostelecom owned about 45% when the Ukraine war happened. Jolla were trying to get out of this arrangement which took some time,.

Hopefully this becomes more normalised. The idea that a company runs their own site, but not social now seems a bit backward.

Haven’t seen many, but when I tried rewatching iron man 2 if felt disjointed and tonally weird. And love and thunder was disjointed as well. Not a marvel movie fan at all though.

Sad to hear but probably good to cut losses - Reminded me of an old Post from earlier. Props to anyone who can make it work.

Empire Strikes back. Han Solo being carbonised, Luke skywalker hanging from bottom of cloud city. Just wow. Probably earlier ones but that was stamped on my brain.

Sad. I was thinking the buyout was more about owning ip e.g halo, fallout tv shows than the devs. I guess in ms world any other studio can take over game development.

Put me in the crowd that would jump to Linux rather than Windows 11 but my sw (Affinity Apps) don’t work on it.

Most of the other apps needed work on it. I just don’t need all the BS Microsoft push for my work machine.

Edit: Use Linux desktop on other machines.

GameCube. Love the design, controllers were a bit eh. Gameboy SP, very cool hardware.

See also the movie Army of Darkness (Evil Dead 3) which predated Duke Nukem 3D by a few years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdkqagOUaPM

Matrix,email

I tend to use a combination of youtube/bandcamp and music blogs to source new music.

Have also set up !discovermusic@sopuli.xyz as a community to record any recommended links. It's looking a bit sparse at the moment.

Very cool. I imagine having threads using the protocol helps a fair bit.

A different approach which is refreshing to see.

I thought it was a reference to the phrase 'Suck my boomstick' which I think came from Duke Nukem.

I write by hand to get things out of my head, whether useful or negative it tends to stop me mulling over it. I've always liked the idea of getting a fountain pen, but have never actively pursued it.

Wolfballs was what could be called a free speech instance run by Master of Balls.. There was friction, but personally I liked that the was a variety of instances if not the content.

Exploding-heads run by Kapow is the closest in vibe and a spot where some jumped to.

Master of balls left an exit note here which pretty much sums up the vibe, stored on the fedirama community https://lemmy.ca/post/390398

Ooh ok - I thought this project was due to be discontinued good to see it ticking over.

Insert Anthem and ME: Andromeda here.

First of the F1 triple headers. Blues V Chiefs championship final. <-- Someone else is the rugby head I'll just be hanging out.

I’m running pleroma with bdx-town/mangane ui. Does the trick looks slick. Could have moved to akkoma but haven’t. Been running for ~ 3 years.

Not sure, but Dopesmoker by Sleep would be up there.

I played ME:A all the way through and.. so much filler. Not a train wreck though, I tried to start another playthough and couldn't do it because while the engine was good when you scratched the surface, it was just surface.

For the record I love the mass-effection of Dragonage called Dragon Age 2 so I get it.

It your stuff. Keep it or get rid of it when you're ready. There is no obligation either way.

Case in point. I just gave away a PS1 with FFVII and FFVIII, plus a PS2 with GOW1/2, FFXII. We're moving house and I packed the PS1 in a box and then I realised right then, I didn't want it anymore. A switch flicked. Inmy case I didn't want to sell, just give to someone who would treasure them.

If you no longer have a connection to the stuff, maybe free up the space always good to declutter - but don't get rid of it just because you think you should.

Looks Interesting. You'd be hoping each one is a gem. I will crosspost to !discovermusic@sopuli.xyz if that is ok?
