After reading this, I'm wondering how a phone could differentiate an Airtag following me from for example a guy with an Airtag sitting somewhere near me while inside a train for two hours.

i think this might be related to samsung knox and its efuse, once set not really being able to be undone and that stuff
Have been trying the wrapper version for 5-10 minutes now, and I think it runs smoother for me compared to the PWA. Maybe it was a Firefox problem, but am very happy with the wrapper rn. So thanks!

If there's a thing you really need to pay in a foreign currency, look into Revolut or Wise. Since I occasionally have to pay stuff in Turkish lira, GBP and donated to USD-only Receivers I like to keep Revolut as my secondary bank account since exchanging one currency to another is completely free!

you can comment on the external instance if your own and theirs like each other. for multiple reasons instance owners can decide to cut communications to outside ones (called defederation). recent examples of cutting communications are beehaw defederating lemmy.world (with the reason of their instance owners wanting to protect themselves from bot invasions) and lemmy.world defederating exploding heads (reason being them being a right wing cesspool)
