Oddly, I'd trust someone closer to senility more than someone who can't even spell it.

Funny, as the subtext of your comment suggests, grossly, that there is something wrong with that.

And yet somehow remain slightly more credible than most Israeli media on the issue.

Even attempting to draw a parallel like that between race/ethnicity and material wealth is a fairly questionable take to most rational people I'd say, or at least hope.

You may have misunderstood my comment; it was intended to suggest that I strongly question your values and priorities because you're attempting to equate something as innate as race with material wealth. I'd go further to say that your conflating communism and socialism with nazism and fascism is merely ideological drivel.

You might want to continue to learn about the issue, as your comment is not exactly an even analysis. It seems more like a narrative wrapped up in surface-level analysis.

Rational people who recognize low-quality information.

Outside of the cynical bluster of all your comments in this post, you've certainly convinced me of that assumption.

Honestly, I'd consider it more likely you need medication and some time offline but hey you do you, friend.

Care to explain how?

This is likely the vapidest thing I'll see all week. Conspiratorial garbage.

Perhaps your question would be better posed to the BBC.

Puddle-deep "analyses" such as yours is tiring as well.

I mean, I'm more familiar with the 30 years of evolving values since the show aired.

We'll simply have to agree to disagree on that, as I see shaming anyone for being gay as a pretty shitty thing to do, regardless of context.

Your point, other than a mindlessly cynical take, is quite unclear.

I hear ya, the democracy part might be a lil hyperbolic but even if we get to the funding deadline next month, there will be plenty of ripples felt. I do think they will eventually settle on Donalds (the rep, not orange Donald) or someone close to the freedom caucus but whoever they settle on will have the same issues as McCarthy.

This really seems to be an issue solely for OP.

That...makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I do see the overarching point you're trying to make but your suggestion is not how this will play out.

Not too tack to hard the devil's advocate side of things but if you're expecting morals from a business, that's a you problem. I can appreciate the point you're trying to make but still kind of a senseless comment.

Absolutely, everything you've stated is correct. My comment wasn't intended as a comment on AI, but on the cynical and knee-jerk take offered.

My biggest socialedia pet peeve: why is it that those who know the least of a topic are the first to comment on it?

To add context to the answer below, its significant as she was one of the few Repubs who publicly blamed Trump for Jan 6, but she's been tacking hard right as of late.

Yeah, the DNC sure picked the candidate that this Canadian would've voted for. Do go on with your simplistic takes, tho.

This simply isn't true.

Thank you for saving folks from having to click a link blatantly posted by a marketing department.

I'm not implying anything. I'm directly suggesting you are a sociopath, based upon your comments in this post. If your answer to a social/political issue is "GUNz!" you're more than a little mentally askew.

You're so, so close to self-reflection but alas.

If something that's posted twice is a duplicate, what does one call something that's been posted at least a dozen times already today?

You're at least consistent with your agenda-posting, I'll give you that, OP.

Given that half the accounts commenting here are incendiary puppet accounts designed to sow outrage, I'm not sure if matters if they do.

Clearly education isn't your priority, as you proudly make clear you don't have much of one. To turn it slightly uncivil, go be 14 years old elsewhere.

Wasn't being uncivil, nor was that my intent, just clearly suggesting that if you don't know much about a topic, perhaps having some self-restraint and not commenting would be a better course for all.

Lemmy is insanely loaded with said fools, literally every political thread is astroturfed with them.

There may be many factors but to just throw your hands up and say every issue is equally important is just plain foolish.

You're answering in good faith, which is less common here than even on reddit, you'll likely only get replies regurgitating cynical takes and memes unfortunately.

My faith in lemmy users actually replying to facts and informative posts like this without some type of online emotional outburst or downvotes is pretty much nil at this point.

If only that average Joe had access to some type of information network on which to look it up, if only. But alas...

Lemmy is seeming more and more like a collection of useful idiots farming cynicism every day.
