My current phone is 6. I have changed battery once. The only problem is internal memory.

I have been using Debian Sid (unstable) for a few months now without any problem, after trying the testing branch.
With a few tricks it runs well:

Debian on my gaming desktop and Ubuntu on the family laptop.
Nowadays GNU/Linux is easier to install and maintain than Windows.
