Seems like going to India is a health hazard.
Just leave, ffs. It's annoying that in the end of the day people still remain in droves. The only hope is that reddit drives itself into being unusable.
They can keep shooting their own feet all they want. I'm glad to be done with it. I thought I wouldn't manage to keep away, but Lemmy is an adequate replacement. In time, it may even come to be okay.
American voters are out of their mind if they elect this guy.
It's disheartening to see that people still stick to reddit. But they still must be endlessly complaining within it.
What a happy coincidence.
Are they practicing losing?
This is a useful technology....for tyrants.
The author then filed suit against both Amazon and the Tolkien estate, claiming the streaming series “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” had borrowed from his sequel and infringed his copyright.
The gall.
I would suggest the Russians have never had a greater interest in controlling a US president than right now. Given how disastrous a Trump win would be, this is not the time for positivism and certainties. Anything could happen.
There is nothing wrong with parents using their influence to help their child. And there is nothing wrong with people pointing it out.
If the child doesn’t want those easy comparisons they could have done something different than their parents. That’s what most children do who have to brave their own way.
I’ve definitely made a return to dark waters.
As global demographics begin their decline the value of labour can only come up. Plus the more specialised the workers the more power they possess. This guy is a delusional moron who’s fighting inevitable changes. In order to get 40% unemployment they have to assume massive losses, and we know they do anything to prevent small losses, so threat is more empty than his brain.
I thought being American required chants about freedom. Turns out it’s about conformity to the will of assholes.
They attack sovereign waters all the time. They make threats to Taiwan nearly daily.
Embezzled 700k and is homeless. I guess money you didn’t earn is quite useless.
96?! Just go home already.
Judicial proceedings is anything but posturing.
That’s not the trigger. The trigger will be mass migrations. That’s what will disrupt states and force a complete evaluation. Of course, it will be too late by then.
This is the problem of starting internet businesses without monetisation planning. They start by doing whatever gains users, and then when they want to be profitable they must try to change whilst holding on to the users.
The exact opposite to how businesses ought to be grown.
Since they know the evidence for it is definite, I imagine they don't want to say something that will be countered by the courts. At the same time, you normalize it by declaring it without fear in the hopes the voting base will buy that it's no big deal.
At this point I can't imagine Trump's legal strategy is anything beyond taking power, and then keeping it.
They went to the stock chart, picked the latest peak, and wrote the article of doom. It's down 20% a year ago, but up 20% for the last 6 months, and up 119% YTD.
Not that Tesla doesn't have its ills or seems to be stagnating, but picking points in a chart is a feeble argument.
Will this cunt die already.
Most people are completely ignorant about how much they are known to the tech companies, what the data is used for, and the dangers emanating from it. They don't know the risks, so they don't fear them.
What is shocking is the apathy of states. Slightly more movement in the past years, but it's still extraordinary how spying laws are now being circumvented through the use of industry, and states are just mostly looking away.
At this point Spotify offers less than competitors with Spotify hi-fi being a bunch of imaginary bullshit. I only subscribe to spotify when they offer me 3 months for the price of one.
Raising prices would be absurd.
You shouldn't be. These companies are not here to play along, but dominate. Just like reddit played along with 3rd party developers until it didn't need them anymore, so will Meta use the openess of the protocol to ultimately undermine it.
How many advances were considered against social norms…?
I’m never logging into Reddit again.
Don’t imagine for a second that Reddit is done pissing off its users. All it takes for lemmy to win is keep improving reliability and usability.
And the pendulum of insanity swings to the other side. They almost deserve each other.
Integration should be expected. It's not in any way racist to expect it. Do you even know what racism is?
Literally littered with bugs.
Just because you don't see it around you doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I'm from Portugal which has even higher divorce rates, and yet 90% of couples I know got together and stayed together and have absolutely stable family lives. The idea that it cannot be done(unless it's done with no effort) is the main reason most couples fail to do it.
Praise the sun!
Who else do you want to pay for the defence of a country?
They’re trying to put the lid back on Pandora’s box. Good luck with that.
15 steps and images for something that takes half a dozen words to explain.
It burned the color out.
I haven’t watched live tv in almost 20 years because I refuse to sit through ads, and I definitely won’t sit through them on YouTube. If it was a banner or some thing on the page or the side of video that would be more acceptable, but sitting through ads to watch a YouTube video….there’s just no way.
