Now I have to go try it, so that I can go through this article's paywall.

I don't know if I had to do anything special for the prompt, but it just gave me a short summary starting with "Unfortunately I cannot provide the full text of the article you requested, as that would likely infringe on the copyright of the content. However, I can summarize the key points from the article."

When growth is so inherent to your system that the opposite is "negative growth".

It's one of the most lauded privacy-focused VPNs around.

Maybe it's to clarify that you still pay for those apps, but not with money.

There is Firefox for Android. You're still on Android, but you can have some control left.

Too bad I'm married to JetBrains Mono.

I think the emphasis on the "planet" is that in their usual over-ambition, Hello Games announced that they'll be simulating a full-scale planet. It then got through the media's broken telephone.

Get the bot to tell you it's connecting you to someone like you did, then give it a fake email address to get past that point.

Welcome to the era of enshitiffication.

Read the update, it was an accident caused by a moronic gift and misunderstanding.

In China, "How much do you make?" Is right up there with "What's your name?".

Pretty disarming for unsuspecting foreigners.

I'm sorry, when was Microsoft praised for their GUI?

Instead of teragrams.

Her legs rotate around themselves and flip sides at 16s in. It's still very impressive, but ...yeah.

Block your ads, people!

I'd be miserable in a basement, flinging my tears at flies and poop.

In Disney+, in order to watch anything in French, you have to change the language of the entire interface to French for the option to appear. And then you lose most other languages.

The only reason I have a Disney+ subscription is because it's hard to find kids' shows in languages other than English in the high seas. And they make it so friggin' difficult for no reason.

In case you missed brewery's message below (as it's a second-level comment): all private mode does is to temporarily prevent storing history and cookies on your device. You can set that as default behavior for normal browsing instead.

Honestly, every time I try my hand at Gimp, I give up after a couple of minutes. I'm a big proponent of FLOSS, but Gimp feels like a mess. It also looks like the UI hasn't changed since 1995.

Not to people indoctrinated by Abrahamic religions.

I actively did my best to take any condescendence out of this comment. I don't have personal experience with Mullvad except for Mozilla VPN (which I believe is just re-skinned Mullvad, if I'm not mistaken), so I just told them what I knew about it. How is that berating them?

That's not what OP is trying to do, though. They want to select multiple tabs (sounds like a very niche scenario).

I was playing soccer on a roof when I was around 5 years old. Backed into the then-knee-high wall and fell, head first, 4 meters onto a cement floor. I miraculously broke my fall by hitting something midway, and managed to survive it with just a cracked shoulder, sprained ankle and a couple of stitches on my forehead.

However, I realized years later that my left collarbone now pops out every time I lift my arm over my head.

It's silly, but as a kid I once turned on the TV to Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life", and in particular, the scene where an enormous man is fed so much that he explodes. Still haunts me to this day.

I agree with your sentiment, but the resolution on e-readers has been better than HD for about a decade now.

When you're a research assistant, a professor also gets all credit for your work, even if all they did was read the abstract.

Be careful with cheap spices, some of them (like turmeric) can be laced with lead and other nasty stuff to make them more attractive.

I would certainly not pay $35 a month.

In most countries that actually penalize pirating, what is illegal is sharing a file, not downloading it. You don't need a VPN in this case, as what you're doing isn't illegal.

I remember doing this once, but I'm fairly sure I did It through a live install. Make sure your target USB is properly formatted? I do remember that finding information on this was hard, because it isn't really a viable long-term option.

One thing to note is that you need to make some modifications to limit how often things get written to the drive, and even then you will probably kill your thumb drive pretty fast.

My Steam Deck is my gaming PC/console. I couldn't justify or afford a 2nd one.

This is what I'd wager. I remember reading that apps using Rosetta (is that what it's called ?) take up more resources.

I'm very attracted by grapheneOS, but got absolutely addicted to paying with my phone in the short time I've had an NFC chip on one.

Could you give more info on that?

I mean, for overnight charging you could probably go as low as 0.5A. Slow charging is better for your battery in the long run, afaik.

It's true for the next generation.

The cost is really the printer itself and the time invested. This would probably cost ~1$ of material, and take ...3 hours of printing?

Apparently you can set your games (individually) to only update at launch. You can also schedule updates.
