Even if you do fucking buy it.

Have had plenty of manufacturers call me 6+ months after a job goes out to bid to sell me their equipment... That I already specified... And was already purchased and installed on the job site.

Like what in the flying fuck leave me alone. At least most reps that actually come in bring lunch.

Rather have 240k users here than 240m on reddit.

Sometimes it's the quality of the shit posts and not the post shits.

Without hobbyists most all new recreational activities just won't take off. People don't become professionals and things don't become usable until those who have more passion and time than sense tackle it first.

Ooh no!

Anyways....

Any corrections we make won't take major effect until well after we are fucked. It's why having kids is kind of insane to me because they are going to have a fucked future.

I'm more than happy they have decided to accelerate their progression towards insignificance.

My first interaction with reddit was to explain how ballistics work in a BF subreddit.

Man who knew how much time that comment cost me in my life.

I like the collective 'we' makes me feel all warm and federated inside.

Funny how they get desperate, no?

Still waiting for solid state batteries to take off, when they can reduce the weight ratio on batteries to 10-30% of their current weight then we will see some real innovations in terms of tech.

Ads should be illegal TBH.

Who needs that in their life? If your product can't stand on its own merit and you need to bathe swaths of the general public with nonsense to sell anything then maybe your product deserves to fail?

Just don't buy into any social media IPO's lol

Apparently I'm an asshole.

Edit: no I'm not a cop LOL

It was the best of times it was the worst of times.

The most timely time of all time.

I'm glad to see there are viable alternatives. When the niche subs move, it's game over for reddit.

Pirate bay still in operation?

And someone else gets paid.

Open source as in they are open to sourcing the code anywhere it can be intercepted?

Or am I missing something here.

Maybe I'll read the article. Maybe.

I really like my g915 TKL and there are really two main reasons.

Its low profile so it doesn't cause me to have intense pain in my wrist from inadvertantly arching my wrist.

It also has a really nice battery life so it basically never dies on me.

The fact that it's mechanical is nice too.

As for the cons? Well the keys have gone to shit. Bad plastic. Still usable but not nearly as pretty as it once was. Also micro USB. But it's the same story on the super light so at least they can share a connector.

If those issues could be fixed without loosing the benefits id happily move on to something else. Until then? 915 it is. Don't use the software either so that doesn't really bother me much.

This is why targeted media and advertisement is a bad idea.

It makes it incredibly easy to test people and put them into information silos where what you see is not what I see.

Yeah sucks back in the day on nationalized television one add would run cross country, but at least then you knew it was going to be scrutinized by a wide swath of individuals. Or maybe the segregation of information was not as widely considered then.

But now? We've seen how platforms can engage certain people and even cause mental disability through force feeding insane garbage at them. And the rest of us get to suffer for it, while being blissly unawares as to why.

As far as arm goes, and I know it's pricey, but the Rhode psa1+ is fantastic. Really smooth operation and a nice neoprene cover over the pinchy bits.

My only issue with it is that when it is in the stowed position it requires space behind the 'C' of the mounting clamp. Only an issue if you are installing on the back of a desk that is directly against a wall. I ended up moving mine to the front of the desk and no issues since.
