Yes, thank you for mentioning the real solution - less cars of any kind. Public transport, cities where you can walk around, and bikes are pretty great too.

Jumping in to second immich-go, just used it recently. I had no issues other than Google Photos not giving me the data for shared albums (most of mine), which seems to be a Google Takeout issue.

I'd second this, their SMS bridge has been working great for me too (also not yet self-hosted).
It can be tough sometimes, but find those communities you already love and say something - even a little thing is engagement!
