He's going to jail for a very long time, and I'd say the majority of people are starting to wise up to this fact.

I dunno if anyone will ever consider porting RES over to Lemmy, but there were a lot of nice things like drag to zoom that I'll miss. if those features were implemented natively without needing an addon, that'd be super neat.

Friendly reminder that PLEX is a great, free service, you just have to put in the effort to build up a media collection. High capacity HDDs are very cheap now, so storing a large media collection isn't particularly expensive.
They also offer a lifetime "Plex pass" which adds some neat, but non-essential features, like auto-skipping intros and credits sequences for instance. It's not necessary, but it's a nice way to show support for what they do.

I use ReVanced and love it. Works great, though you do need to do some fiddling to set it up. Once it's installed, though, it's just regular YouTube with all the bullshit stripped out. You can even remove features you don't like, like the Shorts page or the Cast button. And it's got patches for SponsorBlock and Return YouTube Dislike.

There are good properties to work at and bad ones, just like most jobs. I work as a full time night auditor with a solid crew and great management (now... previous manager was nice but incompetent), and I'm quite happy to say I make a fair chunk more than my state's minimum. That all said, it does vary heavily based on property location, size, amenities, management, how well coworkers gel together -- so apply to job postings carefully if you go into hospitality. It does give you fun stories though, that's why I love the job.
