Ehemalige DSA-Figur, die es irgendwie geschafft hat, eines Menschen Pseudonym im Internet zu werden.

Former TDE character who somehow managed to become one mans pseudonym on the internet.

I‘m not sure if I like this. I use Matrix for a couple of years now and to be honest the more I use it the more I hate it.

Everything just feels slow, clunky and some basic things are quite complicated to archive and some functionality just does not work.
All that was okay for me in the beginning but it never got better.

IRC and XMPP also had their problems but I often wish them back nowadays.

I guess it’s because US laws likes to pretend to be in force world wide … which they are not.

Regarding the Firefox Wayland variable, it should be possible to add the line in ~/.profile instand. And that file can simple be opend by showing hidden files in the file manager of choice.

Thats the term Stallman came up with when the first distributions (esspecially Debian) started to build up. It wasnt really popular even back than so he setteled in GNU/Linux as alternative which to this day is in the name of quit a lot distributions.

It was never the plan/intend to rename the Linux kernel itsself to either of those terms.

Ubuntu (in VM, a few months) -> Linux Mint (1 year) -> Archlinux (2 years) -> Ubuntu (1 year) -> Fedora (2 years) -> Linux Mint Debian (3 years) -> Debian (5+ years for now)

I have had a desktop PC and a laptop for a few years now. The laptop had Mint (DE) for 2 years longer.

That should be more or less it, makes about 14 years on GNU/Linux now.

Not by Cannonical but there are volunteers that still work on Unity.

The first I tried was Ubuntu 10.10 but for reasons I don’t remember anymore I‘ve decided to rather install Linux Mint 10.

Used Mint for quit a while, then I had my distrohopping phase before finally setteling on plain Debian a couple of years back.
