Anyone have thoughts on a color laser printer? I’ve got a high schooler with the occasional need to print in color, but I’m not sure if it’s worth getting a color laser or just going somewhere to print for those odd jobs, and just getting a regular laser printer.

Docs is the easiest thing to replace, honestly. It’s good, but there are so many alternatives. Sheets, however, as a connected collaborative spreadsheet is harder to replace. Excel is terrible online and tools like Airtable are too cooked for most people.

I live in an area that’s terrible for bikes, otherwise I’d consider an e-bike.

So I’m pretty new to all of this, but does defederation mean that I’m not able to access any of the communities on those instances, while browsing this instance on the web or in an app? Does it mean that I need to create an account on those instances directly?

Bummer. I agree with others this kind of thing stifles adoption. Perhaps it will get better.

I don’t experience any meaningful issues either using macOS. Some parts are locked down but I don’t have any issues installing apps, running brew utilities, or using third party extensions.

Obsidian supports canvases now, which seems very much like OneNote.

I’m playing Starfield on Xbox cloud. I only get to play an hour or two a week so progress is very slow but I think I’m about 50% of the way through the primary story.
