Beehaw sounds like a really toxic, Professor Umbridge-type place.

Hakuna Matata!

I do want more bike communities, though I'm much less into the pro scene.

I've never seen it before. I guess I'm really lucky I picked lemmy.world (mostly blindly). Sounds like it's the best-of-all-worlds instance.

So you can nuke your multi-selection by misclicking?

And it was never useful, by any sane argument. NEVER (purposefully) spontaneously move text out from underneath a user's eyes!

My ring finger is longer than my pointer finger, though I can't tell if their knuckles are the largest two. Should I punch with those knuckles?

I've been drinking brewed cacao (Cacao beans roasted, ground, and brewed like coffee) almost every day lately. So that.

Is there any way to turn off every language except English and undetermined without having to make literally hundreds/thousands of clicks?

I'm strongly, strongly tempted to go on an angry rant about the unusability of the front page jumping around constantly. I'm thinking of donating in order to help out, because I love the idea of a federated forum/news aggregator. Is this a new bug, or something?

I've never played a military shooter, but Battle Bit is piquing my interest.

Not true, see @BitSound's comment.

It does have to be topologically planar (may not be the technical term), though. No donut worlds.

Dormammu, I’ve come to bargain!

I just heard some supposedly inspirational blurb on the radio about a guy getting let go in the 2008 financial crisis, and going on to invent the instant pot. Funny little thing. It's a great device (my mother loves hers). Hopefully the product continues on past the bankruptcy.

Just one ply!

I mostly like it, until the front page spazzes out (I think it's randomly starting to update, or something?). Then it becomes totally unusable. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that that should even be physically possible, and is really starting to annoy me.

I've never been on digg before. I thought it was more analogous to Reddit, but that just looks like a locally hosted article?

I still remember and miss when YouTube (and one or two music streaming services) had 5-star rating systems. Probably not as sensible for something like Reddit or Limmy, though.

the password is too long.

Uh oh, this is a very bad sign. Make sure you're not using the same password on Lemmy as on any other service!

ZZT was an amazing game where you could make your own games and program "objects" using a simple scripting language. It was my first programming language.

It was Tim Sweeney's first game. I've never played Fortnight.

  1. The Lord of the Rings trilogy 2-∞. Idunno.

I wouldn't mind changing my alarm to the theme from Futurama.

(But I'm going to go ahead and leave it as Mr. Blue Sky.)

Yeah, I think I'll go buy it now, too. I think it's on sale.

Supposedly, gallium is non-toxic, and liquid at body temperature (though not room temperature).

I think there's a website called "xkcd explained", or something.
