I don't think I've seen any "ask transgender" style places on fedi, but this this page is a good starting point https://transequality.org/issues/resources/supporting-the-transgender-people-in-your-life-a-guide-to-being-a-good-ally

I think what has worked best for me was getting to know some of the things to do that makes the voice more feminine, and then spend a lot of time doing the things while recording myself so I can immediately hear if I did it right and what happens if I combine them.

It kinda sucks that it requires actually listening to the voice tho 🥲

There were apparently some schools that had cat litter around because children can't go to toilets during school shooting lockdowns, which is terrible in its own way.

Keep fighting, but be patient as well ❤️

Here's one without trackers that work in a browser https://ftvt.fiona.onl/

I helped a bit making the recording part 🤓

Went to local lgbt groups trans meeting for the first time. Was pretty cool, but crap i'm not used to that level of socializing.

I also got angry enough at my doctor prescribing hrt to look for alternatives. Feels empowering in a way that it shouldn't do.

My mom suggested it. I thought it was the most stupid name suggestion so far, but smiled and nodded because I was happy that we were having a genuine talk about my transition without the negativity that we would often end up with.

After a few months I realized that I kinda love it and, as you say, nothing really clicked the same way. It's been about 2 years since I legally changed it and I still get a warm feeling when people use it :)

Also, nothing weird about the name Eva! If it feels weird to tell people how you came up with it, you are allowed to not mention that the idea came from a TV show.

At your stage I usually try to avoid committing code that doesn't compile/has syntax errors etc.

Later on I try to make sure that I can go to any commit in the history, and have a program that runs. For example, I don't want to knowingly add code related to one feature that crashed the entire application just in case I need to go back later. But it's up to you to decide how unfinished the state of the feature/program is allowed to be when you commit.

And if it's a side project that only you will work on, you might also just say screw it, even if it catches on and other people will look at your code, they probably won't care that much about how organized the early work was :)

There's cis men who do Lazer hair removal, but depending on your body it's not as effective as others t suppressed.
