It's been reported that some employees helped carry similar boxes into a plane just days before the FBI (?) executed their search warrant. Meaning, there is likely more classified material in other properties owned by Trump.

The judge doesn’t want to give Trump’s team any ammunition for an appeal.

It's still treating Trump different than most. If it's such a problem to put Trump in jail, why isn't it for any random person?

Jesus christ these headlines mislead everything.

One article included how often employees needed to look at the cameras. That was the case in something like 80% of the times people went in to shop.

The goal was to train ML enough so that humans were rarely necessary, obviously.

The headline is pretty accurate. That might have been the goal, but they didn't come close. And now they are closing down those stores.

Seems that they utterly failed in the goal.

Machine learning has lots of errors until you train it.

These stores were open for a pretty long time. It's not a given that it's just a matter of training.

The most important bit about this isn't how it'll be done. It's to convince people that a certain group of people is the cause of all of their problems.

This isn't Rust specific. It's really difficult to securely start a command in Windows. I highly recommend to read https://flatt.tech/research/posts/batbadbut-you-cant-securely-execute-commands-on-windows/.

Those sites determine what they promote. Such sites often promote extreme views as it gets people to watch or view the next thing. Facebook for instance researched this outcome, then ignored that knowledge.

It has been stalled

More like that it's been purposely blocked back by the Republicans.

Fridge uses 143W idle

Isn't that like 1250 kWh on an annual basis of idle usage? An efficient fridge should use 150-200 kWh per year, this isn't just idle usage. Even an inefficient fridge would be really high with that kind of idle usage.

Another reason is that he probably has hidden parts of his wealth and will likely lie to the accounting firm. Making it likely really difficult to do his accounting. And if there a mistake it'll cause difficulties for the accounting firm.

Loads of drawbacks for any firm, seems easier to not do business.

Have you had CPR training? What you stated isn't true. Every second counts. But looking up instructions and seeing a easy video will still help massively.

Use Ublock Origin, not Ublock.

I wonder if this is related to https://www.sovereigntechfund.de/. This as it shouldn't be about saving cost. It should be about being sovereign.

They don't care if their claims are true. Lies spread more easily than the truth.

Ah, so you can exclude gays. And that means:

Republicans don't by default have anything against gays.

Because hey, every time they do everything against gays there's an excuse! There's been loads and loads of excuses over the years, but hey, they really don't have anything against gays!

Jeez, done critical thinking would be good.

Republicans blocked it. There's no "both sides" to this.

It’d destroy their upsell from 8gb process in one fell swoop.

There's a video where someone upgrades the memory of an iPhone by cnc'ing the existing memory chip. So basically using a drill to more or less drill the existing chip to get rid of it. Requires crazy precision.

Republicans have the majority at the moment. A president isn't a dictator, though Trump is planning to become one.

My budget is maximum $50

There's a Dutch weather man who reviews a crazy amount of earbuds as a hobby. They're all Bluetooth ones though. I found that you get better quality for a similar price if you get a wired one.

Anyway, recommend that you check out https://www.scarbir.com/

He has lists per price range, but also recommendations per usage type. E.g. I bought ones that were less affected by wind noise (during a call).

Everything just feels slow, clunky and some basic things are quite complecated to archive

It's been that way for much longer than a few years unfortunately. I don't understand how people can tolerate it. Some projects switched to it because it seemed more beginner friendly than IRC, but to me it's not focussed on making things easy.

That's explained in the article. If Glassdoor somehow learns of the real name of an account they'll silently add that information to the account. Glassdoor is meant to be anonymous so such action can lead to repercussions.

Seems that there are some issues with the bond. See https://youtu.be/_ATmnBSwYyU

Meaning, apparently the company can only vouch for a bond that's up to 10% of its assets. The company isn't big enough to vouch for this bond. In the financials they added another company to pretend they're big enough, but that company isn't legally involved with the bond. So pretty dishonest at best to add an unrelated company.

Yet another twist.

So Trump is arguing that Biden should be allowed to assassinate him?

Obviously not as that would conflict with: rules for thee but not for me

It's just that the courts aren't as enthusiastic about dispensing justice

In Netherlands there was a system which was supposed to indicate if you maybe committed fraud regarding taxes and benefits. That system was completely buggy, plus highly biased. People went to the highest courts to prove their innocence and the courts rather trusted the tax authority, which trusted the system.

Children were taken away from families, people lost their jobs, etc. This for around 100.000 people/families.

The government knew and ignored that things were going wrong. A cabinet fell, people voted for the same people, pretty much the same cabinet was installed again.

I wrote this from memory, there's a Wikipedia article about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_childcare_benefits_scandal?wprov=sfla1

It went on for ages. People are still heavily affected. Most haven't been helped. It is one of the many scandals as a result from a majority voting for the same right wing party. People were sold that all these problems were due to left wing parties, now there's an even more extreme right wing parties trying to form a cabinet. Because obviously it wasn't right wing enough. Urgh.

Like promises not to do mass layoffs.

And what if that promise is broken? It shouldn't just have promises, there should be clear consequences attached as well. Else it'll just be a broken contract or promise. That can end up in legal stuff for ages.

I'm not a lawyer, but wouldn't pretty much every jurisdiction consider you properly served if [..]

Meidas Touch on YouTube discussed if it was needed to serve him. I forgot a bit what they said, but recall that they were doing more than what was needed. Plus there were also more aggressive options that were possible.

Anyway, Giuliani has continuously been trying to not do anything. His behaviour is consistent, but also weird. A judge used his behaviour to dismiss a complaint or something. He's not helping himself. I wonder why he behaves in ways that seemingly completely destroy his financials.

Trickle down economics should result in more jobs. In this case it didn't. The lesson is that not enough subsidy was given because people were fired instead of hired. Suggest they give Musk more money, that should get the desired result! /s

You're reading into something that wasn't said.

The question was how much it cost. That's pretty clear. And that's not about how much she earned as a porn star.

I'm not sure Alaska Airlines was even negligent.

Apparently in a previous flight passengers reported a whistling sound. Further, a pressurisation computer was apparently replaced multiple times instead of noticing why it was giving issues.

See https://youtu.be/ROeGKs4xTfs?t=16m33s

That's still a really high market cap. Even 2.60 per share would be way too high.

antifa

That stands for anti fascist. As such, it's strange that you think Trump is anti facism. He tried to overturn an election. Just one of many examples.

Might not be enough. Apparently they have better plans in place to manipulate the voting proces into (incorrectly) declaring Trump and others the winner, even if the votes say something else.

It would be great if media wasn't allowed to repeat such obvious lies. Media should be free to say what they want, but there should be consequences. If you spread lies then there should be consequences to it. And it shouldn't require a hugely expensive court case that'll get dragged on for at least a decade.

There's research that indicates it doesn't work at all. They'll just say whatever is needed to make it stop.

The judge isn't part of the gag order. Meaning, gag order doesn't limit what it said about the judge.

So tired of the same arguments. They don't mean anything in the real world

The second sentence is a fallacy.

And it does matter that the company is calling it full self driving while it doesn't fully self drive. That it would have that capability is something Musk has promised for many years. It's also a reason that Tesla stock is worth so much.

Go ahead in a court of law and claim you are not responsible for an accident

That's would be a very specific case. Tesla has been reminded multiple times that they need to take into account how people use their vehicles. The company is also under investigation for possible fraud because they are selling something that doesn't do what people would respect it to do.

You're focusing on one thing, but there's multiple ways that the company could be liable. There's been multiple articles explaining that the company is either under investigation or that the company has been warned to change things or else.

genocide Joe

That's a tired claim as well. Ignored that after he blocked some support that the Republicans went out of their way to ensure that support is sent anyways? It's not on Biden. That said, I don't agree with the support.

As we said yesterday, the lack of response to the increasingly aggressive actions of the collective West by the hands of Ukraine is fraught with great consequences.

Jeez, I know this is a Russian source but still, what a weird take.

You were shipping my container

I really doubt you dealt with container shipping. Loads of things are utterly weird at first thanks to maritime law. For loads of things it's basically: "hope you got/arranged insurance!"

The usual "both sides" fallacy bs.
