In the big picture, I would say FOSS has a moral aspect to it within society. I would not say the same about an individual trying to decide between an Android or Apple device, or using Linux vs MacOS on a personal computer.
Partially Examined Life if you want rich but approachable discussion on academic philosophy. I cannot understate how good these guys are; the age of their podcast speaks for itself. Also, for what it’s worth, I have an actual undergraduate degree in philosophy and I recommend them whole heartedly.
Twitter, Reddit, Meta, YouTube, et al. - these platforms have one singular goal, and that is to serve you ads and generate income off of your harvested personal data. If there exists a conspiracy, its goal is to remove all barriers to that end.
