It was easier to make working apps but it might be more difficult to properly follow good coding practices if you don't have prior experience. That's just my experience.

Yeah, I had to buy a duro, it's a stunner! and for the price it's a no brainer. The new variant GA-B2100 is on my radar. It has bluetooth for keeping time and some basic reminders and tough solar.
As for mechanical I thought I'll buy some HMTs, since they have heritage where I am from and they are pretty cheap too. But the dials are all horrible.

KeePassDX - I've migrated all my passwords to KeePass and use tasker to automatically backup to google drive. I have a nextcloud automatic backup configured too. I used to have Aegis but KeePassDX can take care of that too
