Having worked network support, the number of times I've been on a screen share with someone who opens an excel sheet from the share drive that holds all the root passwords for every network device they own is high. A bad actor could take down some very large companies with some simple social engineering skills.
"Miracle Workers" hasn't been mentioned yet, it has a similar vibe, romantic comedy, some mild philosophy, very upbeat. Each season is a different storyline with (almost) the same cast, so if the first season doesn't grab you try the next. The creator had an earlier show "Man Seeking Woman" as well, that's fun too.

I was also there since 2008, and was a heavy user. I've checked in a few times in the past month (a lot of my more niche communities haven't moved over yet), but I don't comment or interact anymore. Once Relay dies it's off my phone (it's already lost the homescreen shortcut), and if old.reddit dies I'm done forever.

We once got a $250 lumber budget for building sets rejected (with the rationale that we could just reuse the sets from last year, even though that was a totally different play from a different time period, nevermind completely disassembled). Meanwhile, the cheerleading squad was issued matching tracksuits with their names embroidered, including on the duffle bag it came in. Sports sucks up huge amounts of money from school budgets, and everyone else is left to fight over the rest.
Normal rekeying is pretty easy, if you're careful - push out the core (the "follower" will hold your spring pins in place), dump out the old key pins, swap to the new key, and put in the new key pins, replace the core. Even when I've completely screwed it up (pushed the follower too far so the springs came out, mixed all the key pins together so I had to work out which was which, and more) it's not been more than a 10-minute job.
Always worth checking if there's more libraries you're eligible for, for the best selection - I've got a card through my local library, one from the next town over (I just need to visit once a year to renew), and a town in California (Sunnyvale) that gives library accounts to anyone who applies. Some libraries will do digital-only accounts for like $20/Year, so that could be worth looking into if your local library doesn't support Overdrive/Libby.

What you think of as important may change over time, as well - with the solution as written, you'd need to decide what the "subject" is at compress time, but what if you later realise that's the last ever photo of grandma, or the AI decides that you were wearing different shoes than you actually were. Worst case, you need to rely on some detail in a photo later, like to absolve you of a crime.
I always figured that's what the pattern buffer is for - the replicator can make a person atom-by-atom from energy, but the buffer holds the 'consciousness', and that's the unreliable bit. Thomas Riker happens because the transporter system copies Riker into the buffer twice due to interference, so when the replicator fires up it creates two Riker bodies and puts one copy into each, sucking down some extra power from the ship to compensate for the missing energy.

They're great work laptops, as long as you treat them as basically disposable. If I have a problem, just turn it into IT and grab another, pull down the repos and I'm off. Wouldn't buy one with my own money, though.
