what bothers me the most about the case is that conservatives often say one of the reasons they should have guns is "what if I'm out at night and someone starts following me, I have the right to have some way to defend myself" which, sure, I get it. but if you look at the details and evidence, trayvon was unarmed, and more or less keeping to himself, until george, who was armed, started following him. maybe it's true that trayvon attacked first (there's no hard evidence indicating this, only testimony from george), but would it be so unreasonable after being followed by some random stranger with a gun at night? why is it not seen as a case of trayvon defending his life using whatever means available in the moment? after all, defending yourself from potentially harmful strangers is so important to them that they believe it warrants having access to lethal weapons (which again, I don't really disagree with, I just think you need people need to be held responsible with how they use that, but I guess chuds are willing to make exceptions...)

I would advise against a laptop if ergonomics are a factor, they are slightly better than smartphones but still overall bad. Get some basic PC setup (if you don't want to build your own, I suggest an ASUS mini PC or mac mini) and spend the rest on getting a decent chair, a desk where the monitor and keyboard/mouse are at levels that are comfortable for you.
Ruby does that (well you use the keyword "end" instead of a bracket) but it fell out of favor before it got as big as python, to my knowledge, because of worse multithreaded performance in comparison (which I think has been fixed) and a bias towards unix systems over windows

anyways I have an iPhone and a macbook pro. the iPhone I like because the overall experience feels "smoother" even though some of the higher end androids might have better specs on paper and might be a little faster on benchmarks. idk I know this sounds stupid as fuck but it might just be way things are animated and the overall visual design, I just find it less annoying to use. at this point the most concrete advantages android has are the real file browser and sideloading, but I personally don't need those. I last used an android in 2021-2022 and almost never used them
the macbook I bought because my stupid job only allows remote work if you provide your own hardware, and at the time they started allowing remote work, I was working on an iOS app. I was a mac user a long time before, so I was excited about "returning" but honestly I found it underwhelming, mostly because it still has the problem that caused me to switch to PC in the first place - poor compatibility with mainstream software. the one nice thing about macbooks (or at least the specific one I got, the M1 pro) is that they're super quiet compared to windows laptops, the loudest it gets is on the level of the average windows laptop at idle. also they have better touchpads, though touchpads in general are bad. I don't hate it but I don't think I'll be buying another one again. If I have to get a mac for iOS development or something in the far future I'll just get the cheapest secondhand mac mini suitable for the job.

That’ll be fine. Just make sure you get a separate mouse no matter what your setup is to begin with. also you can get a laptop stand instead of a separate monitor, which will be cheaper while still improving ergonomics, though you will need to also get a keyboard
