Same guys who told Putin Ukraine will surrender in 3-5 days?

If that means we'll have to forfeit the use of, for example computer systems, or some actually vital modern infrastructure - I don't think we'll agree to the ban.

On the other hand if their use is unavoidable, for any valid reason - there should be sufficient effort in recycling them...

look what theirs weak bombs did too our poor people. Be sad for us please.

The article is not about victims of rocket launches...

But they still struggle. What's worse is that some employees are convinced too. Yesterday had a talk with friend from financial sector - she's convinced that during the pandemic shutdowns their organization performance was significantly lower. I tend to attribute it to their management style - old school corporate, with lots of meetings, and overall age - most employees above 50 according to her.

Note that most of the building industry in Israel consists of Palestinian workers, and the current events froze all building projects, amid fears of terrorist groups sneaking into cities - thus negatively affecting these families income.

Yeah, they had to do this in face of allegations of fake claims. Sadly truth is worse than even the lies...

Yep, the one where they broke into airport and painted private jets made a bit more sense...

Isn't this the dude that ran away to North Korea to escape discipline action, and then was passed to China by the Koreans?

The agency, known as UNRWA, posted its warning on social media on Tuesday. The Israel Defense Forces reposted it and said that Hamas militants have more than 500,000 litres of fuel in tanks inside besieged Gaza.

Yep, as a place where:

According to the UN, over 150,000 people have been killed in Yemen (From wikipedia)

They should really calm the fuck down

With Israeli obsession with children and family, it is extremely hard for LGBT, or any other couples to adopt - they have to prove they have the means to raise up these kids - both material and psychological.

Note what this event was actually - a barrage of rockets sent towards regular Israeli cities and towns with the intent of harming civilians. Not military bases, or IDF infrastructure. Add the fact that up to 20% of these missiles land on Gaza's territory, and their casualties are registered as caused by IDF.

Same here. I think censorship is bad - but looks like Google really want to distance themselves from anything Hamas related, and even Telegram bosses who didn't bend for Russian government pressure (couple of years ago there was an attempt to control or block Telegram there) prefer to stay away from it...

Who would such prisoner exchange comprise of? on one hand, regular citizens mostly women and children, while on the other, able-bodied young men which were taken into custody while or after committing hate crimes...

With diesel, Hamas can power air circulation vents in their tunnels, as well as water pumps (some people in comments on Lemmy said that the low sea level there may affect the depth of the tunnels).

900 comments and 70 posts in 3 months isn't impossible for a motivated person. Not sure OP is, of course, bug numbers alone are not evidence enough. Do they engage with commenters on their posts?

I wonder if repeating patterns could trigger epilepsy or tripophobia in sensitive people

I think they must present their considerations/justifications to neutral third party, but there's danger of very potent intelligence being publicized. Imagine if IDF/US military had a high ranking informant among Hamas leadership, who then let them know that they plan to use ambulance movement to smuggle forces/equipment in and out of Gaza. If they publish it far and wide, that person is in grave danger, but more impactful - they won't be able to provide Intel anymore...

There should be some kind of "accountability score" for politicians, managed by an independent body, that will track all their promises and follow up with whether they, at least tried, to fulfill them. So that voters will be able to refer to it, before they reelect the same do-nothing again and again....

What? Netaniyahu must be dismissed from politics after the acute phase of the fighting ends. That's it.

Welcome!

reminds me of: "Fiery, but mostly peaceful protests"

Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan dismissed the latest announcement, saying “the Israelis said there was a command and control center, which means that the matter is greater than just a tunnel.”

Didn't they have almost a month to clear up the place, and seal off the tunnel entrances, before the first IDF land troops entered the hospital premises?

That what they tried to do in 2005, by forcefully removing Jewish settlers from Gush Katif, hoping the Gaza's population will thrive there, instead got endless barrages of mortars and shellings on kibbutzes behind the fence. Multiple billions in international aid were used by Hamas to dig and reinforce system of underground passages and bunkers...

The UNIFIL (neutral peace keeping force) exists in Lebanon since 1978 - and didn't prevent Hezbollah from becoming the most capable non-government actor in the region, which launches AT missiles on Israeli northern border every single day. Tell us more about neutral parties...

It's crazy what's been going on there, is there a regional power nearby that could step in and protect the civilians?
