I think you may try sideloading these apps:

For YouTube: uYouPlus A mod YouTube app with SponsorBlock.

For Spotify: Spotube An open-source app that you can connect with your Spotify account, and it reproduces the music from YouTube (without ads)

I hope it helps you :)

Maybe perplexity?

Regarding the speed of my internet, that it is not a problem (I have 1000mb downloading), neither with the max resolution (my tv supports 4k). Now, regarding the sound and storage you have a point here. I need to increase my RPi storage capacity. Another issue could be the content language, I need at least 3 different ones, and not just subtitles. Thanks for it!

Yes, it is. You may want to sideload using Sideloadly, it has a guide you can follow easily.

The only cons with sideloading is that you must refresh the apps every 7 days (which is not difficult).

Because Stremio is not available on my platforms (f#<|!ng 🍎), unfortunately.

Great job! Thanks for sharing

That is exactly my fear. If I need to build my private streaming station, I will need too much storage (I still do not know how much exactly).

Furthermore, I want to build on top a Minecraft server for my kid.

Thanks for answering.

Trash guides seems to be exactly what I need. Thanks for your answer!

Great insights!

I am almost giving up because my setup isn’t working properly. I really cannot see what is the problem. I have everything installed and running, but I could not follow the TRaSH Guides, nor the very few videos available outside there.

What am I waiting of it? “Simple.” To open Jellyseerr, look for something I want to add to my library (series or movies), then have it available on Jellyfin (through my server), doing the automatic download using RD.

I am missing something, and I really don’t know what is it.

Do you have any suggestions of a step-by-step guide? If yes, I would appreciate it so much!

Best wishes! 🤘

Thanks for the suggestion; however, a VPS is out of my options, despite its functionalities, it is a subscription and the storage will be too limited.

Got it!

I’m reinstalling everything, even the OS, because for some reason I cannot run the python code to setup Plex Debrid.

What an explanation! Thank you very much!

Right now I’m formatting my RPI, and installing a new OS (DietPi). Also, I’m installing Jellyfin, Jellyseer, and PlexDebrid.

I’ll add my pi to the router as you suggested and test it again. I’ll be back with some feedback.

Wait, what?

I am trying to set up RDT Client, but it seems almost impossible, for some reason it does not work on my RPi. Same as you here regarding the fee, I am trying to avoid them as much as possible. Thanks for your answer.

Yes, I already chose Jellyfin because it’s open source, for free, and very useful.

Thanks again. I really appreciate your help, specially with your comments on the Debrid tool.

Thanks for your insights…

Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough. My problem is basically I cannot do the streaming properly. But as you pointed out, jellyseer and plexdebrid seems not to be the proper solution. I will try with Jellyfin and plexdebrid instead.

About Debrid and the VPN, the question is that in my country of residency, as many others, torrenting is not legal. But here people seem more hunted for it.

I have a dynamic IP, and it’s being a pain in the @$$ for me. I simply cannot use my domain to access my home server because of this.

Is your script available on GitHub or similar platforms?

What are the extra features more than the “Low contrast mode” and “No heatwaves” (which I really don’t know what are their function.)

I was looking into Unraid OS, and it seems nice, and as you, I want to keep far away from subscriptions as much as possible.

My doubt with HDD is their speed, high noise and energy consumption.

Thanks for answering.

At least 12TB or above. For the budget... As cheapest as possible :)
