A fire extinguisher

The homework aspect in theory helps with the University structure.

I wonder how many users and how much traffic they lost in the process.

It adds a lot of server space and traffic requirements so it’s probably better hosted externally.

Unless something changed isn’t every browser running on iOS essentially just Safari at it’s core? That’s a pretty big user base to punish.

That’s a brilliant idea.

70-120 years old? Wouldn’t some of this be public domain now?

I used to work above a guy who had a reputation in the company for not really taking direction well from anyone (hence why he ended up in our section) and he was about double my age.

What I used to do was mention two things that needed doing and ask him which one he wanted to do. Most of what we did could’ve been done by either of us but in letting him pick what he wanted he had more inclination to actually do it. The rapport that came from this did allow me to jump on the few things that I wanted and get minimal backlash because I was fair most of the time.

Treat people with respect and make them feel like their opinions are valued.

If it comes to personal stories and life experience in conversation - try and take a lot more of a listening role and acknowledge their experience. They’ll feel valued in that space which will translate over to respect in the working space.

Brave removes ads.

But also… it’s Brave which I’m learning is not the most ethical choice.

Nerv and Gehirn? Nice.

Posts. Same as I call them on every platform. Fuck the branding exercise.

They’ll still see upload/download volumes, speeds and patterns. Just not destinations. That alone could indicate torrent.

Chris Hemsworth. He was on holiday and very quiet, keeping to himself. I was staff aiding with his transport.

Haikyu is great. It’s about volleyball and follows the same sort of theme of DBZ about constantly pushing to improve.

If you liked the environment and feel of Cowboy Bebop you might enjoy Samurai Champloo. Same director but replace jazz with hip hop and space with feudal Japan. I think it’s a masterpiece.

There are a couple of alternate universe Evangelion manga that I would get into production.

Now you’ve given me something else to worry about…

At some point in a car’s life you ask yourself “is this worth getting fixed?”. The answer is often no for minor cosmetic damage and they tend to mount up.

It’s probably Lemmy.world

But the beauty of federation is that it’s about the size of the fleet, not any specific ship.

No need to apologise for those writing skills. You write extremely well.

I wanted a brown girl and ended up with a grey boy who feels like a perfect personality match for me. My goal is life is to be as chill as my cat.

If I’m retaining knowledge I’ll go early 60s in Japan. Have fun and get rich in the miracle economy and protect myself from the bubble bursting in the early 90s. Then I’m loaded and living in a great place.

You mean reference books?

I got into this recently. Seeing that there were Evangelion kits helped too. Blows my mind how intricate it is. It’s so relaxing.

I got a machine to set up as a media server and it had Windows preloaded. I’m a Windows user primarily and after an hour I got the shits and installed Mint. Command line installing is so much simpler.

From what I’ve watched and read you are correct. It also creates excess methane which is captured and sometimes used for things like energy.

Perfect Blue

You could try italki. I’ve not used it myself but it’s got a good reputation.

This is good news. Means they’ll leave us alone.

Climate Denier’s Playbook is great. After enjoying Rollie’s YouTube stuff for so long it’s nice to see it translates well with bouncing off someone instead of just monologuing.

This is the type of thing you could go to town on with Sonarr and Usenet.

The Courage to be Disliked.

It’s a look at Adlerian psychology through the format of a conversation. I’ve looked deeper into Adler and don’t agree with some but the book changed the way I think about a lot of things.

Another Facebook?

You mean Instagram?

That’s ridiculous given there were also four world cups last year across cricket, soccer and rugby league.

The answer to both is iPod Classic.

I used to be pretty negative and aggressive until I realised that if I talked to anyone else the way talked to myself I would get hit.

Now I’m simple and encouraging. Generally a nice little “come on” followed by a simple “you’ll get through it”, “not long now”, “you can do it”, “it’ll be alright”. That sort of thing. If I ever had a coach for anything that’s how I’d want to be pushed.

Novax Djokovic

That’s oddly specific.

I would think for it to work properly there would need to be some sort of trust rating. I’ve used other (admittedly not federated) aggregator marketplaces and never had an issue. Not saying issues don’t happen, but they’re not guaranteed. You’d still get your standard PayPal or credit card protections if you used them.

About 30TB all up though 2x 10TB are mirrored backups of each other. I’m due some more soon.

How do you get tax benefits for that? Sounds pretty shady.
