Freeze Peach!!!

Wait did MGT, just have a moment of self-awareness seeing Loomer?

This is from a state where they are afraid of books harming their children.

Seems like a good place for free public housing.

This article neglects the state of charging and grid infrastructure. We can't immediately convert all cars to EV, we don't have the grid capacity or enough charging stations, yet. Each level 3 (fast charging station) is a custom layout and they take time to design and implement.

Source: I design EV charging stations across the US.

Enshitification is no accident.

His whole speech was a call for bipartisanship and for all workers to unite along class lines. Aside from a tiny bit of pandering to the venue/audience which makes the rightwing audience more receptive to the message, he didn't endorse or praise the Republican party. If you want Republican voters to wake up and vote in their own interest, this is how the message has to go. It's also a great way to sow division within the Republican party.

From the man who ran the "Never Back Down" campaign and was nearly the first to do so...

Yarr!

Here's hoping she stays in to the primary and splits the Rep. vote.

If they don't bother releasing people locked up under laws that no longer exist, why would they bother retrying all those people? To be clear they should do both, but they don't do much of either.

I really have to wonder who is down voting this comment.

This from a court controlled by the party that decries the federal government having too much power. Watch as the spiders eat their own and go on not caring.

Jitsi has done a lot to improve functionality since lock down. Still pretty basic, but it's free and can do moderation.

It's been a couple of years now. Nate Silver now spends as much time at poker tournaments as he does working on 538

Put in a sand pit somewhere you are ok with them shitting. Training domesticated cats is an undertaking that in my limited experience comes down to giving them an option they'd prefer over their current behavior. Trying to dissuade a feral cat from shitting where they please humanely seems like a loosing battle.

I'm no Muskcuck, but I am in favor of capping the generational transfer of wealth. Let these big inequalities die with this generation and set up a (more) even playing field for the next. If the rich want enhanced educational outcomes for their kids they have to fund public institutions.

Why ban, why not just have an accountability partner?

Where dat MAGA freeze peach?

What about some kind of curtain? Make it with something strong like iron?

That won't happen before the primaries are over.

Same for me about the tuta.com address. But I prefer the tuta.io address I already have.

Love the design, fits The Expanse's aesthetic.

Capitalism didn't appear over night. It took several attempts and iterations to get it anywhere near what it is today. Most modern theories on the implementation of Marxism focus less on centralized government authority and more on democracy in the work place, and eliminating 3rd party shareholders' control. Much of the struggle with implementation of this, is that the existing financial structures aren't set up to handle this type of thing well.

Or look at the deforestation of the Amazon rainforest. That all done to produce more farmland. So, if we were using or land more efficiently we wouldn't be carving up the "lungs of the world"

I used to use nova and switched to Niagara a couple of months ago. It very different but super sleek

It's worse. It's an unplanned doublespeak that does both.

I am also not a programmer, but I have been thinking about the above idea as key to simplifying the adoption of lemmy to the broader public. I think that this idea is good, but the fact that the host instance must locally store all the data of another instance it's federated with seems resources intensive (but I bet storage is cheaper than processing calls). Wouldn't it make more sense to have a shared API-like protocol to allow instances and users to migrate freely using a SSO?

Shubert's Erl Koenig, Beethoven's Pathetique, Moussorgsky's Promenade. But I'm also a huge metal fan so I like a little drama.

I am in my mid-30s, and play fortnite semi regularly. Zero-build is just a solid FPS, and the changing load outs keep it fresh. I play pretty much exclusively with friends my age that have moved to other parts of the country and it's a great way to keep in touch with them.

Fumoffu?

A couple of my favs: Moss, fantastic puzzle/platformer, great story and still family friendly & Asgard's Wrath, single player action/rpg with good mechanics and a fully fleshed out 40hr campaign.

If diversified goes under, I doubt it has enough in escrow to close all of those wells. Will the government allow it to use the money from the fine to close the leakiest wells as a compromise?

Hi, I grew up in CNY and have been living in Upstate SC for the last 14 years. It is more affordable on the tax side. Our housing costs are catching up to NY (still less taxes). Job opportunity is very industry specific, and generally tough everywhere.

Moving is hard work (physically), but less of a hassle than switching your primary email address. If you have time, vacation to areas you think you might be interested in. When you go, don't be afraid to be a tourist/outsider, ask for help/directions/opinions of people you cross paths with, it will really help you get a sense of the area and community. Some people might value a thriving board gaming community, while others are looking for climate/mountain/beach opportunities. If it's something your worried about, also take a look at a natural disaster map to get a sense of what you might be in for.

I have found that most of Appalachia share a culture/ethos. There are a lot of similar attitudes and ideas among rural people in NY and rural people is South Carolina.

AMA.

Wow they really worked hard in both the paper and the article to make that as boring to read as possible. This is important, and while not the first were hearing of it. The way it's written no one who has already heard the threat will ever read it.

Can get pregnant at 16, math checks out.

I'm lurking for replies.

On the east coast Raleigh, NC and southward is snowfree (snows maybe once or twice a year, tops).
