They should arrest the parents for negligence at this point. If any of the kids die they should get man slaughter charges.

It's also just a joke.

Putting the flag upside down isn't disrespecting the flag but kneeling during the anthem is. These people are so pathetic.

Man tankies just really infest the fediverse. I wish reality was as simple as they like to pretend it is.

How is this whataboutism? Who said anything about the West or East vs West?

If anything this comment is about how China continues to increase their carbon emissions per capita year over year while the west is doing the opposite.

Edit: In fact the EU produces less then China per capita...

No one would have adblock if the ad situation on websites never grew completely out of control.

I'm currently playing it and I don't really think it's as messy as it appears on the surface. It has a pretty clear progression goals from what I can tell 5 hours in.

This money really needs to come with more strings attached. Like promises not to do mass layoffs.

:( that would be a shitty way to go. Having observed it happening to others myself.

I hope you can find happiness in life.

There is no justice to be had now. He is a senile old man and probably wouldn't even know if he was in a jail cell. The time for justice was 30 years ago.

There is unfortunately no fixing this.

Okay here you go.

I mean it's not like we all have access to the Internet and can verify these numbers at any time.

There have been some theories floating around that they did this to avoid sanctions so they can share code with related Russian companies.

It would be one of the most impactful pro worker thing the government could do right now. So it won't happen:(

You forget a /s ?

A lot of old ppl are on free government healthcare. That is who Biden is targeting with this statement.

Tax returns should be public anyways

Well the first claims out by Hamas was 500+ dead and an Israeli airstrike.

Now we are learning it's more like 20-50 dead, landed in the parking lot next to the hospital and was due to a failed Hamas/related groups rocket.

Yeah either way people died but the entire situation has greatly raised tension in the middle east. It could have been responsible for opening up another front of the war with Hezbollah.

Yeah I just stopped taking any comments on the fediverse on this topic seriously. People on here are often the extreme left or right it seems. And to have any nuisance gets you yelled at by both.

And why they tell you to.

Honestly it's best to not bring up anything other then work at work lol.

I keep it pretty much complete separated from my real life.

Because it's not that high. 34,144–71,544k military casualties and 103,160–113,728k civilian deaths during the entire 8 years 8 months.

That includes fighting extremists like ISIS and deaths caused by Iraqi security forces (post Saddam) who also have the most casualties on the coalition side.

Many more died due to extremists groups like ISIS outside of the war. If count that then maybe you start to creep up. But I don't think it makes any sense to blame the US for what ISIS and other groups did.

To add on to that the invasion phase itself caused 30k military deaths and 7k civilians.

That number is incredibly misleading.

That's unfortunately not how vaccines work. You need a certain threshold of participants.

If enough people don't get the vaccine then a lot more then non vaccinated people will die.

But they don't have to back up their 1 million claim?

No one is getting played. What you said is completely besides the point and has nothing to do with the post. Even if correct.

I won't buy another Ubisoft game after the nft shit and them deleting old accounts with purchased games.

Or add a clause to the TOS banning retroactive updates of TOS to existing games.

To say that this makes processed foods bad for you however is kinda ridiculous imo. Might as well tell people to only eat raw things because it has the least calories / most filling.

Bad food is bad for you, eating junk food is known to be a giant waste of calories and how it's prepared doesn't make it better or worse.

Outside of increased calories I have not seen any evidence that food being more "processed" is actually bad for you.

I'm not sure when this movement against junk food became a movement against processed foods but it's moving in the wrong direction. Plenty of shitty junk foods can have very little processing involved. And I'm convinced it's exactly those "low processed" junk food providers that are pushing all this bullshit.

I mean it's the only viable alternative. And it's unquestionably that Microsoft has been making Windows worse recently.

That said. I'm not convinced Microsoft is doing this to hurt users. I think it's probably the correct assumption that they have seen a high number of crashes with 24H2 and these software packages.

Lol idk what fediverse you're living in. This one strongly, strongly leans super far left. And not the left that likes Biden.

There should already be imo. Reckless endangerment or some shit.

Imo it should be shortened to hard 15-30 years regardless of life or author.

Not really. Radios can be tuned if you're talking about interference.

I think you just have a hard time comprending what a threat to do something is.

Threats are not often direct statements if intent. Other things like moving nuclear weapons closer to the front is a form of threats. Or saying you will use nukes to defend your territory then shortly passing a law which claims the land you invaded as your territory.

Why can’t you see the holes where they placed the mines from a helicopter?

Anti tank mines are buried so after some time they are basically invisible. If they are lucky it might be recently placed (dirt is still visibility disturbed) or places poorly and they can find them.

Anti personal mines are straight up too small to see from the air. Google butterfly mines. Almost impossible to see in some of the dense foliage.

Also flying shit in an active combat zone often gets shot down.

Is there no machine that can “see” underground and help locate them?

There is metal detectors which are widely used. But very hard to use in a combat zone. Anything bigger would trip the mine.

Speaking of big things triggering it, it also happens to also be a way they clear it. They attach these big disposable wheels to the front of tanks which activates the mines. They are just extremely slow and once again hard to use in an active combat zone.

Is there no way to just spray a bunch of objects in the field and detonate them?

They do something similar actually, instead it's a huge rope of explosives that blows open a corridor. It gets shot out of a vehicle using rockets. But the amount of explosive used is not cheap so limited supplies and it's also a very dangerous target due to the amount of explosives needed. Some of the biggest explosions I have seen online have been from these mine clearing vehicles.

I agree but these assholes went beyond that and sent their sick kid with measles to daycare when they were explicitly told to quarantine. Like what the absolute fuck. It's beyond words how selfish and disgusting their actions are.

Two most important things

  1. Don't leave your bike anywhere overnight.
  2. Don't make a pattern of leaving it locked up in the same place for long periods of time.

A nice lock will help a little bit but tbh if they're determined then they will get it if you slip up and allow them the time.
