The game is so much better now but it still falls short IMO, and it'll never live up to its original promise. Plus, the game was soooo bad on release that they decided to kill all future DLC except for this one. Which means the game is never getting another major update, no more fixes and no more work towards delivering on the original vision.

I don't think it's that type of "durable." I think they mean you can read from it forever without having to rewrite the data, which currently isn't true of platter and solid state storage. This isn't screen technology, though, it's storage technology, so I'm not sure the comparison is useful.

It's a fantastic game and it's currently on sale for the lowest it's been in a long time. Just be aware that it's heavily based on large scale teamwork, and you won't really be able to take advantage of many parts of the game without joining an org. That being said, it's still a great game just to grab a rifle and join the front line.

SCOTUS judges have to retire or die, and then vacant seats have to get confirmed by the Senate, and no self-respecting Republican Supreme Court justice would die while in office. Expanding the number of justices is also extremely unlikely to happen, and also, relevantly, not really in Joe's hands.

I think it's probably already too late. They've laid off staff and winded down development already. Usually DLCs are developed in tandem the game and other DLCs. They'd have to make a big change to make a new DLC now, and it would take a long time for it to come out.

Any news on how Ukrainian soldiers are handling the assault? Are they getting reinforced? Do they have enough manpower and weapons?

I used Flipboard way back when tablets were a new thing and it was clearly designed as a tablet experience. I didn't click with it and I still don't fully understand what it is but I'm surprised they're still around.

I thought the whole point of these things is to sue them so you can get it front of a judge who might say it is in fact legally Plex's responsibility, so the whole thing becomes Plex's legal responsibility, and they can either crack down massively internally or get sued into oblivion by others, and they didn't have to go through the whole big rigamarole of suing each individual person.

I actually cannot wait for that nutjob to lose her seat. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure we're going to be stuck with MTG for a while yet.
