Since it already worked with instagram, this was people signing in with their instagram account, checking the app once or twice, and then going back to instagram. The starting numbers where incredibly manipulated because of this single account system between threads and instagram.

I’m so happy we’re transitioning away from using synthetic processes to create so many inferior synthetic compounds, and transitioning towards using synthetic processes to create tried and tested compounds we’ve been using and loving for millennia.

I remember being a kid in school looking up GTA6 rumours. And now I don’t think I want it anymore. What happened to GTA Online is vile.

In the future, maps have been banned. Somehow this never effected space travel.

If I learned anything from the 2016 US presidency it’s that anyone can be the president of that country.

You call it silence, I call it Mitch speaking his ethics.

They’ve done such amazing work for Linux. Linux gaming wouldn’t be the same without them.

Mario seems like the perfect character to replace the voice actor with an AI. He barely says anything, and often it’s what he already said before.

Just the split screen coop alone is done better than any other game I’ve played, among games that still have the feature.

X offered Vaught a few alternative usernames to consider—@musicfan, @musicmusic, @music123, or @musiclover—none of which appealed to Vaught.

You don’t say lol.

I don’t ever see this being tossed around so I’ll share it here, SmartTube is a completely ad free and downright great YouTube app for android TV you can side load.

This is beyond dumb. Such an iconic logo that was already such a huge part of their brand. Not even a logo that needed to be changed. This will cause major confusion for some old people.

A superconductor would completely change how we handle electricity. It’s like a cheat code almost. I’d say most of our current electric infrastructure only exists because of the limitations of our non-superconducting materials.

I think we’re at a unique point where windows has pissed off people to no end by continuing to ruin their operating system, and Linux has reached a very mature point. Everyone I know that uses windows hates it now, more than ever, and are finally at the tipping point.

Oh are we not using the scientifically correct term for giant viruses? Because I think the word Girus is hilarious and want to see it more (don’t you dare curl monkeys paw).

That’s crazy because my plex content is still free…

I find a great test is to ask men if they think these things exist in the first place.

Let’s show those cis people how capable we are at losing!

Checkmate

It just feels better… I can’t feel the bits otherwise.

The best smart home platform before are this was home assistant. And by gosh it still is the best by a mile. The difference in functionality home assistant has to anyone else is an ocean wide win for home assistant. It’s the only thing that even comes close to the utopia idea of a smart home so many have given up on. I love my home assistant 💜

I’ve always wondered how a theocracy that follows it’s rules as strict as the Taliban can rationalize their terrible state and misfortune when the enemies of their god are what the religious would consider “blessed”.

The trick is to use an operating system so niche and different that no one is prepared to hack it.

None of the sex stuff in current games is forced, it’s all optional. For some games you need to actively seek it out. So just don’t choose to engage with the sex stuff. Sounds like an extra layer of immersion to me.

I thought this meant they were developing their own alternative to x11 & Wayland. It’s just how windows are arranged on the desktop.

A thought I’ve had for a little bit now is what is making sure Beehaw isn’t sold off? I have no doubt in the current intentions of the admins, but as Beehaw grows it can become very valuable for data companies. If this wonderful community thrives, there will be eventually be people and companies making offers to buy everything we’ve built. Is there any plan to ensure Beehaw doesn’t sell out? I’ve been burned before, and I want to ensure that if I’m going to contribute financially that I won’t lose Beehaw.

I really appreciate that in MGSV when you move to first person view for iron sight aiming, the controls change to properly feel like a first person shooter. In contrast GTAV and RDR2 also have first person modes, but you still have the character movement of third person and it feels very wonky.

As an Affinity Designer user for years this looks really wonderful. I’m happy with my Affinity products on my IPad Pro for artistic work so I never look into alternatives, so I had no idea Inkscape was so impressive.

I love the transparency. Is Kbin’s source code not a viable alternative? I’m also familiar with raddle but I don’t think it’s federated. The devs for kbin seem to at least not have semi-abandoned it.

Are people trying to flee to Saudi Arabia because it’s the closest border? I can’t imagine many people wanting to go there willingly.

I recommend turning Beehaw into a cooperative where to be a member one has to contribute monthly financially. I understand this is no easy task, and am only sharing my best idea. I really like this place.

A big difference with this show and other bad shows that are getting second seasons isn’t I never heard of anyone hate watching the idol. No wants to see that mess other than some very sick people.

I didn’t know that. Thanks.

If you can confirm that this isn’t influenced by training bias, then ok whatever, it can certainly list why these are bad things too. It’s just answering a question with logic, one our emotions get very touchy on as we have a moral agent.

But I have a hard time believing any AI anymore isn’t effected by training bias.

Speaking in strictly technical terms, Henrietta must weigh more than a house by now.

Looking on the bright side here, this will be good for applications that depend heavily on Chromium such as Steam. It won’t be much good, but it’s something.

I fear there will be a huge effort to retrieve the first person to die in space if they’re in orbit, similar to the hunt for ocean gate.

This is a debate here in Canada.
