Man I was actually excited for threads. Then I had to see EVERYONE without the option to just see things I followed. Then it sucked immediately.

Well they rushed it out because of Twitter. It was a smart move. It’s clearly still in beta though. I think with just a followed/follower tab could make threads actually pretty enjoyable experience. Like a Reddit instagram Twitter all mixed into one. I’m usually a massive meta hater… but I enjoy threads.
I also would prefer Lemmy to be the lone survivor of this social media war. Cause Lemmy is awesome.
