Every article about a SCOTUS decision from this week had a title that was at least this brain-breakingly bad, it's gotta stop...

Trump would absolutely make the genocide significantly worse than the track it's currently on if he wins. And he's gonna make life in the US worse too. The "both sides are equally bad" rhetoric has absolutely failed over the last 8 years. If he lost in 2016 the entire world would be on a completely different track and if you don't want to believe it then I'm confident that you don't actually know the differences in policy and ideologies between the Democratic and Republican parties.

And before anyone says I'm accuses me of being a liberal, I'm a libertarian socialist and I'm registered to the Socialist Party of Massachusetts. I voted Bernie in both primaries then Green Party in 2016 (which I've come to regret even though Clinton was going to win my home state by a huge margin) then Biden in 2020. I voted this way in '20 because while Biden ignores socialists Trump wants them all dead.

Chromium is the browser monopoly.

The most expensive thing I've had that was really notable (as I'm sure I've ordered something pricier and thought nothing of it) was half an A5 wagyu steak from Wegmans. I think it was originally around $250/lb but it was on a manager's special sale. I think it was around $80 for a ½lb, which is genuinely insane to me knowing that manager's special means it's the last chance to buy something before it goes bad.

Anyway, it was really good. A very odd experience though because afterwards I kinda stopped craving/ cooking/ ordering beef for a couple months. It was like I achieved some superlative thing and was just done with the concept of beef for a little bit. A strange reaction to such a positive experience, that said I do still eat beef occasionally.

It's all relevant

This is gonna be stupid heavy. My Toyota Avalon is 3,638lbs and would just get pulverized in anything more than a parking lot fender bender. For reference, the current-generation Escalade can weigh up to 6,217lbs and the Hummer EV, which the Escalade IQ might be based off of, is 9,063lbs (as mentioned in the article). This thing is going to kill people.

Do you actually think Bibi is in support of any of those civil rights?

Way to simultaneously claim to be against anti-intellectualism and be willfully ignorant of how federal-level politics works

you are either a bot account or really stupid lol

Yeah, let's just do away with LGBT pride, we clearly lost the oppression games and therefore have nothing to be proud of!

God, I wish I was so fucking ignorant.

Some of this is very boilerplate handbook wording but I gotta say some of these benefits are very average at best, especially the time off situation. This is from the perspective of a US government worker, where I regularly see my friends get hired in the private sector and receive much better time off.

And at least in southern New England, there's some straight up illegal rules in here, notably discussion of wages. Around here you cannot be ordered by anyone not to disclose what you make.

You need to go back on your meds

He doesn't just "give a platform to everybody" for the sake of free speech, that's not how free speech works when you're a host and/ or owner of a media company. He hosts a certain crowd because he wants to. It's his show.

Literally all media is biased. If someone tells you that they are unbiased or if some other show is, they are lying. Rogan is friendly to capitalism and drug legalization, and there's nothing wrong in disclosing it (even if I don't personally agree with the former).

OP posts anti-Biden articles like it's their job so if an article says he's not enough of a Christian for secular office it's fair game so long as it makes him look bad.

Yeah, the wording of OP's question is dumb for this reason. What person on this planet has done literally only evil things? A better question would be more like "What billionaire is genuinely a good person and why?" Personally the size of my list of "overall good" billionaires is a rounding error but at least the thread would be more interesting.

And definitely lighter electric cars so the roads and bridges that already exist can support them like they can support ICEs (sorta). And batteries that don't use conflict minerals like lithium so you don't have to violate human rights rules so often just to build a car.

Maybe we could just expand public transportation in and between population centers so we don't have to rely on our cars so much, which could lead to the act of driving being more enjoyable again?

No

Since your goldfish attention span deleted your memory of Trump's presidency I'll spell it out for you: Trump will be worse.

I wish I was so delusional as to think both sides are equally bad in this situation

Do only rich people deserve guns?

Do the most vulnerable people in society not deserve a means of self defense or self sufficiency when you consider the demographics of lower earners?

What is the spirit of this legislation - what kind of person is supposed to be targeted by this? What kind of person actually commits gun violence?

Plenty to complain about with regards to euro luxury car concepts so yeah weight takes a backseat when feature subscriptions are making headlines. The XM, Q8, and GLS should also are hideously excessive vehicles but the Escalade is going to sell significantly better and so when it comes to its size the societal damage will be greater.

Yeah, the marbling is crazy, you can cook it and cook it and you'll never run out of fat in it. I only did a couple minutes on each side though so it was extremely rich. Even a ¼lb was probably a little too much when I had it. Non-hamburger beef is more of a treat to me at this point, I think I enjoy it a lot more when it's a rarer occasion.

Hop Water is insanely good. Like a citrusy, slightly bitter seltzer and usually cheaper than any NA beer that's worth drinking. It's quite a bit more money than any store brand seltzer though (which I would've recommended otherwise in either grapefruit or mango flavors for basically the same reason).

I had your start dose and kept with the for, I think, 3 months (I was about 80kg when I was on it and also took 7.5mg Adderall 2X per day).

I felt around half of the same effects as you overall. Like it could split the difference between an antidepressant and ADHD medication. I was generally just a little more at ease, better at planning my actions, down to the wording of my conversations. I think it helped me reduce my use of melatonin like you.

But my deal breaker was feeling so sedated for the second half of the day. Nothing else got in my way like coming home (from a desk job, of all occupations) and immediately passing out on the couch. I don't know what your biggest detriment is with those side effects but personally, I've stopped meds for fewer negative effects than that.

That said, I'm not saying to stop taking it right now or stick it out longer than you can handle. Your doctor should know which effects are transient, I don't. What I am saying is that all of your opinions, both positive and negative, are worth talking about with your doctor. Ideally they'll use your feedback to track transient side effects or change the dose. Psych drugs are trial and error and it's really aggravating when you get exactly the positives you need out of one medication and then some side effect just hits you like a brick out of nowhere or when little things just pile on over time.

Yikes. Maybe it’s time for you to log off and get some fresh air for a bit.

How did you only read the second paragraph of that comment

cringe

This manages to be both not true and especially not an answer to my question.

I think the policy is pretty weak for such a well-loved (up until this week) company. Guess that's the way the industry works: put up with mediocre pay and benefits because you're "doing what you love," or if I'm feeling really jaded I'd say something like "abusing the workers' passions for the industry."

Thanks for sharing!

I'm not justifying shit, you're the one saying that the world deserves fascism. Someone who thinks that way clearly has something to gain under such a vile system

Where's the Democratic Party's version of Project 2025 and Agenda 47? The blue version of the frameworks to turn the US into a theocratic, hyper-capitalist, totalitarian state if their candidate wins?

Oh that's right, there is none. Both sides are not the same at all and you bought the lie that they are so you could feel smarter than everyone else about it.

That's all well and good, maybe guns are inherently problematic. But since no one is paying attention to my wording I'll just say it:

Right wingers and neo-fascists commit the majority of gun violence in this country and will absolutely never give them up. They are not the poor and unsophisticated rednecks you're told they are, they tend to be richer than average and their brand of violence is calculated. Many of them are current and former police officers and therefore won't take their friends' guns away just because the law says so.

If you're poor you're less likely to be white and straight and therefore more likely to be harassed or killed by the aforementioned groups.

This is not me saying that it's time to give up on gun control laws or that we need more guns. Fewer guns in the US will mean a more peaceful country. I'm saying that laws that simply make it more expensive to buy and own guns will not deter violent people from buying them because they impose no restrictions on them.
