Don't you just hate it when you're building a pipeline and your mouse skips a few pixels and you end up with kinks?

Dutch company makes the machines that shoot US chip designs via lasers via German mirrors to Japanese/German/Taiwanese silicon wafers that are further processes by Japanese machines in a Taiwanese factory.

I was amazed by the intelligence of an LLM, when I asked how many times do you need to flip a coin to be sure it has both heads and tails. Answer: 2. If the first toss is e.g. heads, then the 2nd will be tails.

You're free to wear whatever you want, but you will get murdered by your family if you don't wear what they tell you to wear.

Especially thanks to social media. E.g. there's a video of the ISS on instagram and the comment section is filled with flat earth people and other crazies.

Only in the winter. Summers will be burning hot.

Microsoft hides their links if they see you run linux. So you need to manually set your OS in the browser settings to see the download link. Very convenient.

Bing for enterprise is already blocking browsers that aren't Edge. Clicking "Edge" from the list of browser identities in Firefox seems to go around the block.

I had to listen my friend and his gf argue and noticed that my ex isn't the only one who likes to load up a random unrelated previous argument in the middle of a current argument.

What's the point if it's not nuclear and doesn't have any SLBMs?

Even the choice of colour was an interesting one. "Should we make our submersible brightly coloured like every other submersible in the world? In case we are stuck floating barely above the surface of the ocean, literally bolted shut inside this tube?" "Nah, let's do white and grey, looks more modern."

We had to listen this C-level guy give a speech how good the last couple of years have been. We've increased the price of services by 50% and the amount of useless upsell shit we push to people has gone up as well. While our wages are still the same and people are getting laid off constantly. But I need food and shit.

6 month of work just sitting thete getting eaten away by inflation doesn't spund smart. Either invest that shit or boof that shit while getting your dick sucked.

Most of my friends use the same drugs, but none of them are cunts like Musk.

I had the intention of reinstalling my windows because it was like from back when win10 was new and the winsxs folder was so big that a 100GB partition was not enough for just windows with all the 3rd party programs installed on another partition... but I noticed that all my games run on Linux so I ended up wiping the 100GB nvme windows partition and moving my dual boot Linux there. I've been without windows for a couple of months now and I haven't really missed it.

I randomly stopped getting the anti-adblocking. On my gaming PC I never got them, on my laptop they went away after I disabled my adblocking for one video and then re-enabled it. Now I don't get them at all. Did they give up on me?

HDR is probably something you want to use with an OLED and quick search of current status of HDR on Linux shows it's only on KDE Plasma 6 on Wayland... which might be in beta this year. Proton has a beta for vulkan games for AMD GPUs.

For me the HDR issue is still a dealbreaker for recreational use of Linux.
