Can this be the social media trend for the rest of 2023? Please?

A factory game called shapez.
I think it's a really good move. Keep everyone together while we're smaller, and then as one or two games start to dominate the feed (Fortnite or LoL or something) they can split those communities out so they can explore their niche game needs without annoying the rest of the users, and just keep doing that indefinitely.
I'm kinda there with you. My cousin has two chocolate labs and every time I'm at their house I hear their name combined with the word "stop it!" Or "get down" or some other variant every 5 minutes or so. I'm sorry, dogs are just inferior cats. Cats are pet perfection.
I love how targeting yourself with ads relevant to your interests is presented as something advantageous for us. Sorry, I don't desire to be constantly prodded to take interest in new gadgets and cat foods.
I've been unwillingly playing Fortnite for the last two years. I like competitive gaming with friends but big map BR games are just so boring for about 90% of the time you play them. Just soooo much running around. I consider time spent looking for opponents to be pretending to play a game.
Smite or maybe another MOBA, because that's what I already do and I apparently hate myself.
I don't even know why the user needs to be exposed to the Fedivere. A "normie" interface would group all of the related subs in the server's federation and display them as one sub. It doesn't ask the user which server to join, it asks what the user's interests are and plops them into a server that matches their interests.
If someone is coming here from Reddit to post their butthole they really don't want to have to go through a sign up process that throws so much technical "yuck" at them they're probably just going to take their butthole pictures and go back to Reddit because this looks like geek stuff that requires too much "figuring out" at this Lemmy thing.
Buffalo sauce flavored popcorn powder is pretty good if you can find it.
Edit: I have this stuff
I have an gaming buddy that is waaaaaaaaay down the conspiracy rabbit hole, I wish I had the energy and position to help him. Another friend of mine that is closer to him says he's gone, she's been trying for years to talk him out of it. He has a constant stream of right wing insanity on in the background of his house.
You're doing a wonderful thing for this young man
You don’t have anything to worry about. Chatgpt is super useful but it’s not great at wholesale coding
😅
just yet
😱
I don't know anything about chess but these squares aren't colorful enough. I think we need some new colors.
The Mega Man 2 soundtrack has been my favorite VGS since the mid eighties. The "introduction" music is what you hear when the main screen loads after you start the game, and has always given me little chills that I'm about to experience an amazing game.
COBOL, because I loathe myself and don't want to be happy
My kids are gonna love the size of space one
Have you found a way to load up a specific community without having a post from that community to navigate from? Like, I want to do the Connect version of typing "reddit.com/r/Ooer" in my URL. It's been driving me crazy; I ended up going back to Jerboa because of this one thing.
I'm in the process myself, definitely feeling good about it; the plugins alone make it worth it.
Mmmm, gotta love that enshittification strategy every big tech company is working on right now.
