Marj's ex husband has been asking himself that same question for a long time.

You’ve got to remember that these are just simple redditors. These are people of the land. The common clay of the interwebs. You know…

Waaay ahead of you there, partner!

I just want to point out that if you use one of those comment deleter apps (powersuite, shreddit etc) they cannot delete comments from private subs as they are hidden. So if you tried deleting your stuff while subs are marked private those comments will not be deleted and will reappear on your profile once the sub(s) go back to normal mode. (at the time I'm writing this, there's still 3600 subs currently dark according to https://reddark.untone.uk/ so if you commented in any one of them marked private you'll have to wait for them to come back to public mode to erase them.)

Also, when they do come back they won't always show up normally in your profile. I've had to flip between hot/new/controversial a few times to see them all as they pop back up.

I've always understood the saying to just mean to pay attention to all the little details.

$75 but shit tickets are $25 per single ply square.

I guess nobody told them that you never throw water on a greece fire.

As a mainly desktop user I agree. Nearly everything is designed/built around portrait mode nowadays, and landscape is merely a secondary concern... if at all. Understandable considering a lot of traffic is from mobile, but it can make things feel a bit clunky and fit poorly on a wide screen.

They only care about the economy when the democrats are holding the purse strings, then suddenly it's all they care about.

There's 2400 channels there, but it's kind of hit and miss... some aren't broadcasting or are geo-blocked etc but there's still a lot of ok ones to go through.

Especially considering it's been a DoD problem for many, many years now. The audits they talk about in the article date back to as far as 2017... this isn't a new issue.

First annual furry convention.

"Final Space" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Space ),

"Disenchantment" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disenchantment_(TV_series) ),

"Star Trek: Lower Decks" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_Lower_Decks )

or if you're into science stuff "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey" Produced by Seth Mcfarlane with Niel Degrasee Tyson https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmos:_A_Spacetime_Odyssey (Not really a cartoon, but it's still a good watch.)

Years ago I used to use Comodo, but quit because each update felt like one step closer to sketchiness from them. I ended up finding Simplewall on github, (a nice, simple, straight to the point firewall) and never looked back.

Have you tried Portal Reloaded yet? It's pretty good as well and as of the June 2023 "Cooperative Update" adds 20 new levels. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal_Reloaded

If you ran those scripts while subreddits were dark, the script can't see those comments you made in those particular subs, (they're hidden along with the sub) and can't delete them. Then later when the sub comes back to public mode, your comments will appear as well. So comments you thought you wiped were simply hiding.

Just to add, also check the other sections on your comments when deleting (eg: hot/controversial) because sometimes those ones get missed by the scripts as well.

Not to say that's the only thing going on... wouldn't surprise me if they are bringing back some stuff considering their history of shenannigans.

11 years worth and over 100k karma deleted. Out with the old, and in with the new.

For some reason I couldn't finish 6. I've played them all and enjoyed most of them but something about 6 just started feeling a bit repetitive about halfway through, and my interest kind of died out. (which is weird considering the mental trauma of climbing radio towers repeatedly in previous ones.)

It's for a one-armed guy? This leaves me with a better mental image.

Dying light 2. Second time playing through, going for the "good" ending this time.

Just to add, the manuals are downloadable for offline use and if you're so inclined, they have a torrent that contains their entire collection at https://charm.li/about.html (Warning it's big, slightly over 700 gigabytes.)

According to some users on r/redditalternatives some people have already been shadowbanned for posting lemmy links.

If jellyfish can do m3u playlists, you'd just need to grab a playlist off something like https://github.com/iptv-org/iptv#playlists or https://matthewgall.codes/mirrors/iptv/src/branch/master/streams

I think it may have something to do with copyrights as to why they don't have anything newer than 2013. I could be wrong though.

Small update on my comment from yesterday... I checked and 161 comments were back from the 1536 deleted ones. Running shreddit again cleared them out pretty quick though. I'd advise anyone using Shreddit to check after a few days to make sure nothing got restored.
