I only found and started using this app a couple of months ago wouldn't have imagined it was on its way out

Typical Google

People are good at different things depending on what they spend their finite time and energy on.

What are you gonna do about it? Install Linux?

Probably a repost so technically not op

Why does it look like a clam shell

Not supporting intel 7th gen and back seemed pretty strong handed, even now they're still decent processors.

And I know there are work-arounds but not for the average consumer

I think I'm seeing things settle down and seeing more actual content now. It was mostly posts about Reddit to start with.

I agree with you, I still found the meme funny though

I wonder how long before they stop pushing updates to it

I always keep the isp provided router for the rare case i need support. On the flip side if the problem goes away it's a me problem.

Yeah it seems most of the posts on the front page are about Reddit or about how proud people are of using Lemmy etc I just want to see some actual content :(

To sideload iPhones apps? Lol

/E: I realised you probably meant pretending to be in those countries.. duh

I've seen a Firefox plugin called block the rich.. I guess it wouldn't fly if they called it block Elon

Not used it so don't know if it's any good

I'm on a diesel and the emission zones in the UK are making it more challenging to own one. That said it has 750 miles range, 4 wheel drive, a station wagon, can actually tow stuff without halfing that range and can fill it up anywhere in minutes. It suits my lifestyle perfectly.

That and it cost me £2600.. I wonder what electric car I could get for that.

Holy shit you might have just explained why I have to reset my password every time for a local fast food joints own website

Since sync landed it's like I just continued from where I was before because that's the only client I've ever used

God I loved the Nexus 4, I had iPhones from iPhone 3G to 4 moved to a Galaxy S3 which I absolutely despised due to the bloatware.. sold that on eBay and bought a Nexus 4 16gb for £280... Had Nexus/Pixel branded phones ever since.

Amen I bought a used one from work for £20 8 years ago with a bunch of spare toners and I still haven't used any of the toners. Do they actually go off?

Do you put something like lineage on it? I replaced my 5 with a 7a just because it no longer gets updates as of this month I believe it is

Similarly, there was a sonic boom over our area in 2016, I kinda knew what it was having an interest in military aircraft but twitter was on fire about an explosion in our area and the military base itself responded with information on what was happening.

Turned out it was Euro fighter typhoons responding to a commercial flight that lost coms.

Last time I used twitter tbf

What modern vehicles still have that? Most of the cars I've had lately and aren't even modern have proprietary shit

Kayaking, ive been doing it a year and a half and I've been on every white water course in the country

Fast driving - although I've never raced competitively I've done around 50 track days and I was normally one of the fastest on circuit wet and dry (whilst not having the fastest car).

Computer stuff - worked in IT my whole life although this one isn't for fun.

I used to be annoyed about the memory usage of running multiple game launchers but now it's a bit of a non issue with 32gb ram. I don't even remember what I had when it was an issue.

Gonna say we got taco bell in the UK and have no issue

We do eat baked beans though

Oh my god thank you haha

They keep each other entertained though, it's fun watching brand lovers go at each other.

Isn't the 9792 street distance though rather than a straight line?

Amazing how good it is considering the amount of back end changes needed.

It was obviously written well with separation of concerns considered so it could be done that way.

I put mine in the original packaging and donated to one of these gifts for kids collections.. in hind sight that product was so niche especially being pc gaming is probably quite rare in low income families I can't imagine any kid being happy with it so I feel a bit guilty!

I got a 2011 with basic matrix display for mpg mileage trip etc, every control is physical, Oretro fitted Bluetooth (because the inbuilt one is too janky for a modern phone which is a good demo of what happens to tech in a car) and have my phone in a cradle it's absolutely perfect.

Think I'm in the teens and stopped using Reddit

Also would like to know the machine you went with, you're quoting GBP so same country

Whaaaat?

I find after drunk sleep I'm still tired anyway and can sleep even after monging out and eating crap all day

Can you explain this joke, seen it more than once guessing she was used in apple marketing?

Yeah my mum will need to sell up to live on through retirement and my dad has a much younger wife that is not blood related to me so I'll never see anything there.

I managed to work my way to home ownership but it's still a struggle.

Believe it dealt in rich text format rtf by default, think it was too limited for docx but I'm open to being corrected

I was originally called deadlok, it was a gaming name I came up with when I was 10 and stuck to it other than contracting it a bit.

Why is this?

Only one I've ever been involved in I got 1000+ £
