Flameshot pretty much already does this, though perhaps not as elegantly

I would kill for this. Trying to get logseq, or any other markdown editor to play nice with an existing obsidian vault is a nightmare. And none of them are nearly as feature complete or expandable.

Just got mine today. There were a couple hiccups for me though.

First is communication. I didn't know these were available until a family member mentioned it. The pharmacy has signs for flu shots, why not covid?

Second, supply. I tried making an appointment a week ago, but they didn't have any, so I had to wait until now.

Finally is insurance. My provider is fantastically opaque about whether they'd cover it. I didn't know if I'd have to pay for the shot until I saw $0 on the receipt.

To say this has been fumbled would be an understatement. I'm not convinced that any agencies or companies are even trying to get people vaxxed.

Many parts of the Internet has become functionally unusable without one. And given online advertising's history as a vector for malware, as blockers are just the sensible choice.

Props to him for talking about it. A lot of people get too embarrassed to tell anyone they got scammed. The reality is that phishing works on a ton of people and we should avoid shaming the victims. Everyone's acts like they're a digital security expert until their credit card gets stolen.

One last little 'f you for making us do this'

It also happens to be cheap. Other pigments are hard to manufacture. Rust is easy.

Even today red paint is sometimes cheaper, especially when ordered in bulk.

It's probably just the code without any assets (textures, 3d models, etc.). Code really doesn't take much space. You'd have a hard time actually building it to something playable as is, but this is still useful to modders.

I guess you're some flavor of bisexual as you are attracted to some men (based on the femboy remark) though you've got a distinct preference for femininity even in men. If you go scrolling through old Tumblr posts long enough you'll probably find a term someone coined back in 2013 for your exact orientation... But, like, IDK man don't overthink it. If anyone asks just say whatever feels right in that moment, straight/bi/pan/whatever.

And remember saying you identify with a particular orientation isn't some huge commitment. Saying you're bi (for instance) doesn't mean you're attracted to all men, and no reasonable person would expect that. We all have preferences within our orientation.

AITA?

No. You're figuring it out. It's okay to not have all the answers

I had no idea what stars was streaming so I looked them up. Never heard of most of these shows. I think I know why they had to drop the price.

If it's even possible it would take years or decades of work building up good will. It's kinda Valve's game to lose right now. They just need to not make any enormous mistakes and they win by default. Fortunately for Valve, they seem to be one of the few companies in game dev that isn't managed exclusively by misanthropes and buffoons.

Exactly. This isn't some wack subscription fee for a game, they're directly attacking the livelihoods of industry professionals. Many studios were already having a hard time seeing the value in unity over unreal anyway. Now it's an easy choice.

As for the company... idk. I'd be surprised if they completely go away. I suspect either the company or the engine tech will be bought by Microsoft, or some other company, at some point.

Lot of unhelpful answers here. I'll try my best.

In a nutshell, Joe was a UFC commentator who also avidly practices various martial arts. He's also a successful stand-up comedian. Being personable and well connected, he started his podcast interviewing friends, comedians, and celebrities.

It should be fairly obvious how he appeals to people interested in masculine personalities. In particular teenagers, young men, and people who aren't very secure in their masculinity tend to like him.

He had/has a rule of letting nearly anyone on the show so long as he felt he could have an interesting conversation with them. To massively simplify, this ultimately led to him having some questionable political provocateurs on the show, many right wingers. Combine this with Joe's non-combative interview style, and his show ended up being a platform for some pretty out-there political theory. The way he talked about COVID struck many people as pretty irresponsible, for example.

Eventually, many who are left-of-center were scared of even associating with him. That's a problem for your public image if you claim to be a centrist, as Joe does. Or at least he did, I haven't kept up with him in a while.

TL;DR: if you listen to Joe Rogan's podcast people might think you're overly concerned with your masculinity or that you're being indoctrinated into extreme right-wing politics.

I have also killed off my Netflix subscription for good

In reductively simple terms heat is really easy to generate. In fact pretty much everything we do creates extra heat entirely on accident, so a device than make things hot on purpose is actually surprisingly simple. It's much harder to get rid of. The only economical way we've found of managing it is by using to phase change of refrigerants to pump it out of enclosed spaces, which is how refrigerators and air conditioners currently work. Everything else would be more complex, less efficient, or both. So if such a thing is even possible it would almost certainly be much more expensive

  1. Coffee smells good
  2. Coffee tastes good
  3. Coffee is warm and comforting
  4. Coffee is more socially acceptable than popping pills
  5. Caffeine pills are somewhat harder to find. I can't order them at a restaurant.

Edit: I'll point out that you'll rarely find someone who only drinks coffee for the caffeine. For many (most?) it's just a perk, or even an unfortunate side-effect, hence the popularity of decaffeinated coffee.

I see what you're saying, but ai has yet to offset regular porn production at all. There's no reason I see to think accepting ai cp would do anything but normalize it and make it more accessible, possibly increasing demand for the real stuff.

Also, the ai models need to be trained on something...

It's not engineering either. Or art. It's only barely writing, in an overly literal sense.

They're targeting black voters in S. Carolina over a proposed ban on menthol cigarettes. Setting aside that the state is almost certainly going red regardless, I doubt this will be a terribly effective strategy with anyone but the oldest black voters. Even then, it seems like a stretch.
