Wait until you learn about micro ops and processor internals. That somebody isn't as wrong as you think.

I agree with the people suggesting Onshape.

But if you like programming, OpenSCAD can be really interesting.

Also House was super shitty to an intersex patient including doing a massive amount of misgendering, so I doubt he'd be better about a trans person.

Waking up with random neck pain is just a thing that happens sometimes. It also will happen more often as you get older. I wouldn't be worried unless it was a very consistent thing.

To be fair to 4, cell phones are miraculous.

I love how no one understands this, but it's still massively upvoted. We like the vibes.

One of the IT guys at my work is really good at stripping torx, but that's because he uses a driver a couple sizes too small.

Definitely Simon since radium has a much higher activity than the other two.

Weirdo.

This is a community for people who have home servers. 100M is fine for a couple people just web browsing, but that's not the topic of this discussion.

I run 10G between my desktop and my server because I can easily saturate a 1G connection doing a simple file transfer.

I wish someone would call me their dearly beloved ham casserole.

When I bought an actual bedframe. It wasn't the bed at my parents' house, it wasn't the bed that my college dorm owned, and it wasn't an air mattress I had been sleeping on during my internships. It was an actual bed, a real piece of adult furniture. It wasn't a small cheap metal frame. It was bulky and adult and real, and I owned it.

That was a cool read

I've had them. They are bad.

No we aren't 😞

Where are you seeing dread? Most of the cicada news I've seen falls between "this is a cool curiosity" and "this happens regularly and is perfectly fine". Also plenty of articles about eating them.

It's off site, but hackaday.com is great for (mostly) electronics and computer tech articles.

I run http://long.cat (but I'm not a web dev, so the cool scrolling bit only works on desktop)

soaup

That's a surname 😞

Nah, it's user error. Torx also has the problem. I've had to rescue multiple laptops from one of the IT guys at my work because he keeps using a Torx bit a couple sizes too small and stripping the heads.

I hate this so much, but I can't do anything but agree.

After he did it the first time, I linked him a nice Wiha set. He stripped more a week later because he hadn't gotten around to buying the screwdrivers. (iFixit is great too)

Daschund is pronounced like "daak' snd" in case anyone else didn't realize this. My mind is blown.

Universal Radio Hacker probably isn't as simple as you are hoping, but it should be moderately easy and very powerful https://github.com/jopohl/urh
