Fuck religion. you can pray to your sky God however you want but you don't get to decide for others what they can or can't do on their time

Cool that's not racist at all

Do you support war, state propaganda and policing of speech or do you support things like freedom of information, speech and the internet archive? You can't do both, fake progressives.

Linux is cool and all but can it tell if I'm watching porn and suggest me other porn like windows 11?

Were all too busy running the actual internet

I couldn't deal with Spotify constantly pushing its industry plant artists and those paying to get into my recommendations. Fuck this company for not giving a shit about your actual tastes

It's not just the oil companies but the banks that shelter them. Cant open a weed business but you can open a business that destroys the planet. It's the politicians sitting on their hands worrying about re election that don't actually give a fuck. The whole superstructure around these asshole companies is equal in blame

be thankful if you don't live in a concentration camp blockaded on all sides and have clean water / electricity. yet.

Reddit is a failing business it's going to use every unilateral tactic it can. What are you going to do with that free time?

It could happen. Is typing class still a thing in school? cause younger generations suck ass at touch-only typing from what I can tell, which is the opposite you would expect

it will continue to be a net loss for whoever decides to purchase it. there are no novel ideas left to try for these companies trying to turn user count for free services into revenue. the model is a failure.

Thank God it doesn't

Not my problem close the restaurant if you can't function without bait and switch tactics with your menu. The answer to your problem isn't shady business tactics. Maybe due to the mismanageement of the economy and inflation restaurants aren't viable business ideas anymore. As the country country increasingly turns to authoritarianism as an answer to it's failing economic system you are going to see more similar things that once was viable is no longer.

Thry should raise prices and pay the employee higher wages. All this other bullshit is just that

Hmm

This is actually how rights for robots will be a thing. So the proletariat knows to stay in line and never harm or try to subvert the robots made by the elite class to extract wealth

Yea thumb typing they have an edge on average I can see that

i don't see a case being made for why lemmy NEEDS tags, other than it's a "nice to have". i use fulltext search and it works for everything it's really good actually. if there was no fulltext search, then tags would be something i'd care about, but fulltext search still would take priority.
i like that lemmy isn't full of tags and has a real fulltext search that has no algorithm behind it. tags system just weighs down things that much more. maybe there is a very clean way to do it and have it be not an afterthought to the original design, i'm not on the project. i still don't care about tags
