I hate all acronyms that aren't defined.

You see it constantly in gaming communities. Ah, yes, the game "AC." You know the one.

Assassin's Creed? Animal Crossing? Armored Core? Ace Combat?

Releasing a perfect game that doesn't have any bugs isn't what the article is about.

It's talking about teams that have honed their craft over many years of developing titles they cared about working on and investing in continuous improvements, of which both Arrowhead and Larian have done.

I absolutely cannot stand Subaru's infotainment system. It's actually the primary reason I'll never get another one.

The sheriff just casually dropped the N word in this press conference?

Idk, y'all. The biggest assholes never die. They stay alive out of sheer spite.

It's amazing for traveling with. I've found that streaming devices like a Chromecast or Roku are hit or miss at most hotels/motels, but the Steam Deck in desktop mode with a USB hub and HDMI cable works basically anywhere.

I also keep some movies and shows downloaded just in case the Wi-Fi particularly sucks wherever I am.

Oh shit, does this work for Android too?

Can't speak for how robust they are since I've never moderated a community, but Sync has modtools and the dev is very responsive and always working on adding new features.

I don't get it. What's happening here?

BREAKING NEWS: Water may be linked with wetness, experts say

I think you and I have different definitions of a role-playing game.

Personally, the idea of using persuasion or deception to get out of what could have easily been a fight is way more interesting than simply running around getting into fights.

Sounds like they're just looking for a daddy.

In my experience, that's only temporary. The screen will always wake up again on United flights.

Actually not seeing that issue in Venmo. Are you looking in your transaction list?

Fata Deum (not out yet) is a spiritual successor I've been keeping my eye on.

I think this sorta misses the point, at least from my perspective. Nobody cares what phone another person has until they try to send that person a picture or a video that looks like it was sent from 2004.

I know that this is only really a problem in the United States, but that doesn't make it any less annoying for those who have to deal with it. I have no interest trying to convince my 74 year old mother and a dozen other friends/family members to install a different messaging app on their iPhone so we can send each other videos that aren't compressed to shit.

Most people with an iPhone just want to use the default messenger cause, frankly, iMessage works and it works really well. You know when that default Messages app doesn't work well? When you're forced to use an antiquated technology like SMS/MMS. Apple knows this and banks on it to sell more products. It's one of many anti-competitive practices they employ.

RCS isn't a perfect solution, but this is a huge step forward in closing a gap that should've been closed a decade ago. Nobody cares what phone another person is using. They do care about having a premium experience with a device they paid $1,000+ dollars for. They're also ignorant enough to blame a green bubble or the believed cause of that green bubble, which is any device other than an iPhone.

The bot doesn't have a profile? If it does, you have to go there then scroll to the right:

I'm not sure why it does that. The slash was definitely in there.

Edit: other people are apparently having this issue

Oh wow, they have a version that doesn't look like it was made for XP? Sucks that it's buggy.

I know you mentioned audiobooks but what about some digital books? Personally, reading makes my eyes tired so I know that, for me, reading something would be a good way to provoke a nap.

As a response to the idea that you may get fatigued by passive media, a book may be a good balance to that. With movies, shows, and audiobooks, you're going to be listening the whole time. It's just constant noise. A book may be more meditative.

Which reminds me, this may be a good time to practice meditation.

I listened to him for a while, then found him complaining more and more about the left. That was mostly fine since he complained about conservatives as well and he supported Bernie Sanders, but I got fed up with him because he wouldn't have liberals on the show to discuss the topics he clearly knew nothing about yet loved to bring up constantly.

He's a guy who touts himself on being open, curious, and willing to learn, but what I found was the exact opposite. Any time there was a guest on his show who disagreed with something and the conversation turned into more of a debate, he'd say that having that person on was a mistake. Ultimately I stopped listening when he proved himself to be a blowhard hypocrite.

Frankensteining

Yes. Someone idly blocking a doorway isn't aware of the space they're occupying and how it may affect others.

What you doin milking your house?

ENV2 gang. Great phone.

Well they aren't trying to pass this off as Carlin's material. The video starts and ends with a disclaimer saying that it's an AI generated impersonation.

What if this set was entirely written and performed by a human but in the style of George Carlin? Is that as tasteless?

That makes sense. I think what confuses me about this reaction more than anything is the fact that we've had all these different AI recreations of other dead artists that are being met with either a neutral or even positive reception.

I've seen a bunch of Kurt Cobain and Chester Bennington songs created by AI where the comments are all talking about how much they love/miss the artist, then this drops and everybody loses their shit.

You aren't wrong about any of this, but let's not forget that a split second "BYAAAAAH" (Howard Dean) can tank an entire presidential run if it gets media attention.

With that said, Trump has had dozens of these blunders over the years. It means nothing.

I take an off-brand Dramamine then hop in. Best if I know 20 minutes in advance that I'll be playing since it takes a little time to digest, but I'm not doing chores.

Thanks. I actually enjoy all those games and can't wait for Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor.

Another game that's a bit less polished but still enjoyable is Don't Shit On My #!$@& Roof.

Preach, brother/sister.

I wonder if being within those circles, you've been exposed to certain ugliness on a more intimate level; with people who feel comfortable enough in their in-group to express their more radical thoughts. Anecdotally, I've known a few vegans but have never been lectured nor had views pushed on me.

Hell, the only time I ever hear about the radical, pushy vegan is when people complain about them. On the flip side, I've been exposed to meat eaters who seem to get offended when someone mentions the concept of veganism, as if someone else not eating animal products is somehow a trigger for them.

Again, all anecdotes here, I'm just figuring one's exposure to the vocal minorities on either side of the conversation is where you run into the problems.
