My father in law is in complete denial. According to him they moved all the measurement equipment so that it favours "the Agenda" and gives wrong readings. He also claimes CO2 isnt a greenhouse gas. Sigh...

I created a community for the sub I missed from Reddit. It might not be everybody's cup of tea, but I will keep the content flowing to Lemmy every single day.. It takes me 20-40 minutes each day to look for interesting content but it's worth it. As for the lack of comments they will come. The important part is being consistent.

I still visit reddit to get relevant info to cross post to the communities I'm keeping alive here on Lemmy. And I've noticed a significant decline in the subbs I used to frequent. I can't be the only one noticing this? I mean like it's extremely easy to notice as you might go days without content on several subreddits that used be active. They are niche subs, but still...

If we are not able to stop them from infiltrating our internet (if they leave), what stops us from infiltrating their internet?

We are early adopters

From my own experience chat gpt has regressed in the answers I get. Bard has actually started to give me answers that are more usable.

We like the stock!

As long as we keep posting content and the users continue to slowly grow there is hope.

Not really. He's just afraid that his satellite constellation will get targeted by the Russians. They probably threatened him and he being who he is (attached to his companies) started to cave.

The trick is to start posting interesting content. We all have to do our part for this to take off.

Agreed. The userbase is a bit too homogeneous. Also if you say something remotely positive or try to bring some nuance to topics that have a strong circle jerk value on Lemmy you'll get downvoted into oblivion.

We can all do our part! If you miss a subreddit, create it. Then just crosspost and add as much as possible until we get a critical userbase.

anyone know when sync will get lemmy support?

In terms of percentage, the use here has increased by a wide margin.

Jerboa is a pretty good app for Android. Can't wait for sync for lemmmy to come out though.

What does the article say?

How do I get started with the models you are mentioning?

If you can't see that this mob mentality of attacking users instead of addressing their key points in an argument is detrimental to the platform than we are not heading anywhere productive. Lemmy will simply be reduced to an echo chamber of older users who don't accept or are even willing to engage in honest argumentation.

We may not agree on everything but thanks anyway for engaging in discourse.

Cheers to you as well.

Lemmy has potential but it's not good when pointing out nuances will get you brigaded. Hating or loving Elon isn't really the point as I'm interested in discussions that seek to be as truthful as possible. Just see my comment history and you will see what I talk about.

But honestly why do you want me to leave?

Lemmy is the future. Most of the subs are chill as you say. I've just got a niche interest in a car Company that has a CEO that shouldn't tweet or say so much stupid shit. You seem pretty chill as well, hope you have a great weekend.

So if im telling factual information about twitters debt situation and get downvoted into oblivion that makes it not true? Is this your logic?

Call me out on my facts. What part about it do you have an issue with?

and what is the bullshit?

What does that do?

Thank you, that is such a reasonable and intelligent response.

Man it's so ridiculous the amount of hate against Tesla that has been brewing out of control on Reddit. You'll get downvoted into oblivion for only stating a positive opinion or experience with Tesla. I hope over time this will get better on Lemmy.

Because I belive ln a better future for Lemmy. I will not be dictated by this mob mentality.

Build my dream house with an architect. After that I would probably travel the world with friends and family.

Tesla drivers are now Nazis?

To a certain degree I agree with you. But, if you don't follow the narrative, things are quite different. An example of this is the prevalent anti-Elon narrative. Even pointing out nuances will result in you being brigaded.

Why suffer?

If you have the right opinions Lemmy can be a comfortable place.

I can't believe they gave the job to such a clueless and arrogant leader. At this rate, it's not a matter of if, but when Reddit is going to crash and burn like Digg did.

Lol wtf are you talking about? Tesla makes some of the best electric cars on the market. Having owned one myself for over a year it's safe to say you have nothing to worry about.

So facts doesn't really matter because I'm interested in Tesla? That's your argument? Twitter had about $7.1 billion in debt before Elon Musk bought it. When Elon Musk bought Twitter, he took on an additional $13 billion in debt to finance the acquisition.

Edit: The simple fact that people are downvoting me for telling the truth honestly says a lot about the state of Lemmy and some of those who migrated here. I had higher hopes for this place, but Im afraid it has become an echo chamber-circle jerk for bitter, non-factual conversations, where people downvote and attack instead of engaging in honest conversation. As for why I moderate that sub, it's primarily because I'm trying my best to recreate the Reddit experience here on Lemmy, in order to assist with the migration. When I joined, that sub didn't exist on Lemmy, so I had to create it myself - hence, why I'm a moderator. I appreciated the content that sub provided on Reddit, so I aim to offer that experience to those who migrate. I also post on other subs where the topics are relevant. This witch hunt is absolutely ridiculous and detrimental to making Lemmy a more welcoming and improved place compared to Reddit.

SpaceX wouldn't be a thing without Elon.

No, a lot of this debt is debt that Twitter already had.

Edit: Factual corrections.

I use X pretty much daily and I have no idea where you are getting this from. Haven't seen a single nazi post.
