This is one of those cases where even if he wins he loses. Who would want to sell ads anymore?

Honestly the first one is the only one that works when people define the first day of the week differently. On the other hand, it does make you wonder. If Sunday is the first day of the week (as it is in many places) then how is it also part of the weekend?

Honestly the archive should rate limit the request based on the Referer, then their website would slow down and become unusable without actually breaking anything.

I also wonder, if they're this incompetent, could someone... Break their website?

I didn't even see the numbers at first

I don't think that's an acronym, it's just an abbreviation

Yeah in a PR I would probably reject this for being too clever. Before clicking I expected the image to start at 100mb or more, but it's already under 50, who cares at this point?

I would try to fix VS, uninstall it, check logs for errors, maybe ask support?

The errors are great https://api.isevenapi.xyz/api/iseven/1.5

Sadly it's not always accurate https://api.isevenapi.xyz/api/iseven/0 Edit: nevermind I'm an idiot

It's also greatly lacking in number support https://api.isevenapi.xyz/api/iseven/one

I just, uh, borrow them from a friend to see how they work on my rig, nothing else will give you a better representation, everything else will just be a guess.

Probably a backpack full of smart phones, go sell them and retire.

Then cry that it'll be a long time until I can use USB C again.

That would require that DLC to work in the new game. Which would limit what you can do in the new game to make it compatible. Not going to happen.

I would love it if Lemmy had direct support for me to tell it what languages I speak and I'll never see communities in languages I don't speak.

It's blinking

The bitrate is the rate of the video, not the size of the file. Think of different codecs as different types of compression, like rar vs zip vs 7z

Does anyone use Adobe apart from schools? Yes, because the students who used it at school went to work and wanted to use it there.

https://www.inoreader.com/ used it for years it's great!

Steam used an embedded browser long before it was cool.

Yeah, you could already pirate it today. You could even buy it, copy files and refund it, but you probably don't.

There's dotnet format which will format your code. You can configure it with editorconfig

The plane would keep moving while you left, so.. you would come back in to empty space.

You can use sailboats if you want, no one is stopping you

Container orchestration is what you're looking for. Kubernetes is the most popular, but it might be overkill it's hard to say based on your setup. However it's definitely useful experience to know how to run it.

This is why we need low code solutions /s

Honestly I think we've been there for a while. The only difference now is that it's very easy for anyone to fake something, which might actually force us to face it? Or not who knows.

They still could have used expensive lenses on the iPhone

Instead of making a video you could probably print to PDF

Yeah but performance has way more to do with architecture than it does code readability. It doesn't matter how well you write your code, if it's an electron app it's going to use more ram than a native app. So I totally agree, but at the scale that it's a real problem it has more to do with architecture than the code in any given function.

I'd keep going until you see it again and try to solve it then. I wouldn't report an issue that you can't reproduce, some projects refuse to accept issues without a repro. Sometimes something weird happens and you don't know why and you'll never know, you just need to move on and keep building, if it's a real problem it'll come back.

I think the difference now is that DLC adds features, and so people are upset when the new game is missing features from the old DLC. Where in the past, say with Oblivion or Skyrim, it was just more story, maybe some new skills, in one case there was a new feature (house building) and their newer games do include that feature. But people don't expect the story line from the DLC in the new game.

Features in DLC feel different these days. In the past DLC had a more limited scope, and you looked forward to the new game for new features. But now if the new game comes out with less features it can be a bummer for people used to the old game. There isn't really a great solution because I don't think it always makes sense to add all the DLC features in the new game.

Nope. You can compile it to web assembly and run it in the browser.

Each instance is available on someone's localhost.

Yeah, no one actually cares. Just look at phones, people don't actually stop using them when they aren't supported and don't care as long as it keeps working.

I don't like the idea of replacing one well known YAML schema (k8s as much as I hate it is well known), with another YAML schema that is not well known. I think I'd rather use something to get away from YAML altogether, rather than just trade one for another. The reason helm and kustomize work well is that your existing k8s resource knowledge transfers, it sounds like it wouldn't with this thing.

Yeah it was finished, it just sucks. Big difference

Clearly the best option then is to just use some of each. Like this: "MovieTitle-2000.Your_mom h.265"

Putting more work on the admin running the server, that's a great solution for someone who doesn't have to do the extra work.

I don't think the issue is if it can afford it. The question is what constitutes a major browser.
