I'm not sure if this fits but here is mine:
I want to get away from Samsung but the "Sound Assistant" app let's me control the volume of every app, kind of like a mixer. Sometimes an app doesn't have a mute option, I can set the volume of that app to 0 without effecting the volume of whatever music I'm listening to.
I also like to listen to my local police scanner and music at the same time. I can set the volume of the scanner app low enough to not really bother the music but loud enough that if something happens I can still hear it and pause the music.
I can't believe Samsung and their app is the only way, but I haven't found an alternative.
Honest question, (I don't expect you to know) how many of those were some form of bot?
Last I knew this worked with vlc also, no ads

This came with some linux distro and I was able to find it on f-droid. Some of the games are better than others. Lots to choose from.
It kinda defeats the purpose of open ear but try wearing earplugs.

Install BiglyBT from fdroid. That is a torrent downloader for android. It has a search function to find torrents. Or you can search torrents using any number of websites.
As for quality and size.... At this point in your journey you'll have to sort and filter manually for those.
Also, you won't find many guides for android and everything does lean heavy on PC. So if you can afford it eventually get yourself a cheap laptop, it'll make things much easier for you.
As much as I hate to say it, Instagram is pretty decent for artisan/niche stuff. There you can actually see them making. Assuming they don't use tricky camera angles or other bs.

I went ahead and asked a free AI how to use sox and played audio to trigger a script. Probably won't be 100% accurate but maybe send you down the right path. Good luck.
Install 'sox' if you haven't already. You can use the package manager of your Linux distribution to install it.
Open a terminal and use the 'rec' command from 'sox' to continuously listen to the audio input:
sox -d -t .wav - silence 1 0.1 3% 1 1.0 3%
This command will listen for audio and create a .wav file when it detects sound.
Write a script that will be triggered when a sound is detected. For example, you can create a script called "myscript.sh" with the following content:

Make the script executable by running the following command in the terminal:
chmod +x myscript.sh
