I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. How the fuck do people still think this guy is what we need. Such a cult

Back when smartphones actually had big leaps in tech in made sense pre 2015 or so. Now, it's very small interative changes. It makes no sense.

I had to block their Instance. I am very sympathetic and generally agreeable to many communist ideals but their brigading and style of that community is annoying.

K38 still works. But yeah just switch to Linux.

Is the pluriverse term a jab at the fediverse? That term seems too coincidental to not be. Equivalating the fediverse to a flavor of the week social media the writer was experiencing?

Not sure entirely about that. Nazis were still a party that held up to 44% of seats in the reichstag (before they were all nazi) with like 6 different parties. Hitler wasn't isolated. The population voted for him and his party. Hindenburg didn't like Hitler but essentially passed away at a terrible time and Hitler outplayed Papen who was meant to keep him in check. Hindenburg felt he had to since they had the closest to a majority in the reichstag.

"In the end, the president, who had previously vowed never to let Hitler become chancellor, appointed Hitler to the post at 11:30 am on 30 January 1933, with Papen as vice-chancellor.[91] While Papen's intrigues appeared to have brought Hitler into power, the crucial dynamic was in fact provided by the Nazi Party's electoral support, which made military dictatorship the only alternative to Nazi rule for Hindenburg and his circle. For Lemmy. Moving from the alien site to here has been fantastic.

Best thing I've seen all morning.

Ah, yes a fix for the controller UI controls showing for keyboard/mouse. It was driving me crazy!

Edit: Confirmed. Is fixed!

Me this morning. I'm gonna take a look at why this Jenkins pipeline is failing. This one job starts a dozen others. Half are failing. For different reasons. After starting rewriting a job that someone half assed. Realize the original error was caused by missing input but some are still valid. Still can't figure out why my rewritten program is erroring. Get pulled away because another program did something weird... I completed nothing today but worked a ton.

My day...

Neither. It's a sorta scummy experience overall with the few actors I've paid the money for. At least that's my experience. If they offer an selfie in the autograph line. That's probably the best experience out of the paid options...

For the official photos. Your rushed through. Actor or whoever doesn't care your there. Your meeting them for like 30 seconds. Sorta feel like your being taken for your money. ( no way?!?)Actor might say hi how are you? And then your out with an awkward photo.

My best experiences was interacting acting with them naturally by mere chance outside of the con. Or once I waited just for a free autograph with Matt Mercer and that was 200% worth it.

I just installed pop!_os am I safe?

Good poll. I've been using liftoff. Tried jerboa, just didn't feel right. Liftoff has been solid experience for me.

Imo. Lemmy is doing great. I feel like this was expected after such a huge expansion. Never could expect everyone to stay. I stood up my own instance in early June and it's technically still up but I'll probably be bringing it down soon as I feel comfortable here on startrek.website and support the cause.

Copium.

Don't give the idiots ideas

Just talk about kubernetes, container registeries, CAC and you can have a 100k+ job.

Isolinear chips have arrived.

BRB getting a male goat without blemish for sacrificing.

Or late at night...

Or ever...

An actual good survival zombie MMO. Ala what day z and h1z1 were supposed to be. H1z1 had the idea to be a procedurally generated middle america setting that sounded amazing. But it turned into a battle royal. Day Z was supposed to be the hardcore survival zombie but it's too just turned into essentially a battle royal. I don't know. I know there has been so many in that genre but I don't feel like any of the ones I've played hit it right. 7 days to die is maybe the closest and I also really liked project zomboid too. I guess I thought dayz captured the realism of the combat with it's arma roots.

I like that episode actually... Lol.

I think it's unique that we see more different sides and not just a US echo chamber that reddit was. However some communities of all spectrums have their idiots and communities that brigade stuff are very annoying. The idea that these communities exist is not the problem. I just block what I don't want to see. I am ready for the block instance by user feature. I have to play wack a mole right now.

This is just like work!

I use connectbot too and it is sub optimal but works for me... I only use it in emergencies. If I had any sort of regular use id want something else so following.

Fwiw I use a VPN on debrid because I don't trust it otherwise.

I made an account this week.. first time since June 3rd. I used it for 5 mins. Saw ads in the comments I was typing a response to. Deleted the account. The few niche communities I want are just not worth it. Reddit is dead. That was the final test. It shall diminish and go into the west.

Amazing.

I bought one too, I think for $75 pre-lauch. Very underwhelming interface... it's barely usable. I think they discontinued them already.

Yeah Gmail is the hardest. Just for the sheer amount of logins. Been with it was an invite only beta in like 2005. I got a paid proton account but it's hard to shake it because I'm constantly needing to log back in with it.

I work so much more efficiently at home. I'm mostly remote. Come in a couple days a month. The days I go in are trying to zone out all the office distractions. Also I have to use a hotel docking station setup that I will always have an problem with at least something about it. A sizeable portion of my day is just getting setup and into a work state. I work in software development with cloud platforms. Going into the office I know I'm gonna get fuck all done. Also the Internet is way worse on site.

However there is a few people on my team that do fuck all everyday. I keep hearing rumors that they are gonna make us come back. It's frustrating because you know the few ones that are taking advantage are gonna be an easy excuse for management to call us in.

Wow nostalgia. I haven't seen this for years. Love this game growing up

That's something. I worked at Dell for a year a long time ago and I can safely say it was the worst job of my life. Hated everything about it. I was jealous of the grounds keepers id see out my windows. Only lasted about 9 months. However, I still think their computers are decent as far as the big computer manufacturers go. I'd buy one today if I needed to. Although looking into manufacturers like system 76 makes me think I'll go that route for my next laptop.

She was the candidate with so little enthusiasm of the voters. That still lost to drumpf with almost 3 million more votes...

I'm flirty, thankful and sometimes say stuff I regret the next day (usually dumb jokes). Pretty good overall.

You did a good thing! alcohol can lower the shields for good or ill. Sometimes it can allow the facade we all carry about different aspects of our perceived selves to fall away and we can truly see what we need to do.

My poor wife if she gets too drunk just cries and cries. She has had such terrible loss in her family her entire life and when she drinks way too much she just sobs almost uncontrollably. It's terrible. Because she remembers her brother, her dad, her grandpa, all gone tragically. She hasnt done that in a few years because we are getting older and drunk stupidly less but it was a thing for awhile.

Alcohol is weird man.

Fwiw clearance holders have a two year period where their clearance is still valid after leaving a cleared job however having continued active access to the classified material is entirely different and not very likely at all.

Sad to see but not surprising due to his history. He was a brilliant lyricist and I am a big fan of his work. RIP shane.
