Not OP, but some of them have non-JS version, in addition to the regular JS version; but yeah, a lot of sites are broken.

OP shared the tools they used, you've probably missed it.

The latest.

Like the other comment mentioned, you don't need to reboot, unless you've updated the kernel.

If you somehow downloaded by mistake an immutable system, like Fedora Silverblue or Fedora Kinoite, know it's not the classic way to manage Linux systems.

Don't they get like 90% of their money from Google?

Telemetry, *supposed to be* only sending data that would benefit the user, by helping the developers to understand what the users really need.

Microsoft and Apple abused that term and it became just 'data collection'. FOSS telemetry shouldn't, and usually - hopefully - wouldn't collect unnecessary data, to sell it back as adverts.

So if you trust <project-name>, I don't see why not to enable it. It just helps the devs, and you too, at the end.

I use NerdOS BTW.

(That's fantastic, I absolutely love it.)

old.reddit.com still works (for now..).

FairMail is very good, and gets updates frequently.

Works great with Gmail, and other mail services.

Yeah..

People really abused the option. That's why we can't have nice things :/

It saddens me to say this, but don't buy from Purism. My Librem 5, after 2 years, still didn't arrive.

The thing that makes me laugh/cry/be happy I switched to Linux, is that it's in that state, but it's a paid product.

If the license was free it was somewhat okay, but it's not. People are still paying.

If you care about privacy, Pixel. Install on it GrapheneOS.

If not, I'd say I still prefer the cleaner UI and overall feel of the Pixel.

Make it a server/put LineageOS on it.

Not a DE user, but I would like Cosmic to be stable.

(Plus, mouse-keys.)

Material Files is fantastic.

FOSS (free and open-source), and supports root, if you need it.

Amaze is amazing (I'm sorry, it was stronger than me) too.

Bottom. Today phones' screen size is a joke.

OnlyOffice.

Switched to Molly after this update.

How didn't we have that until now.

Dual-booting is fine if you have more than one drive.

Not to be confused with OpenOffice.

(LibreOffice forked from OO back then.)

Don't wipe-out everything. Grub Linux Mint/Fedora iso, and install it to be alongside Windows.

When you have free time, play with it.

I would suggest Redirector.

It lets you redirect any site you desire.

Looks like you technically can, but it's not really worth it.

TL;DW: it isn't really usable.

Install Windows again, then install Linux.

Windows is annoying with it's bootloader, but when you have separate drive, it would be way smoother experience.

It broke on ver. 0.27.0; it should be fixed on ver. 0.27.1.

That title is *very* misleading.

There was that Amazon incident, but now I don't think you should be worried about that. If you have other reason to move off, like snaps and other reasons, that's a different story.

Anyway, Linux Mint is great, and based of Ubuntu. You have LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition), that based on, you guessed it, Debian, if you don't want Ubuntu-based distro.

Fedora is also great, pretty similar to CentOS, and have a big community.

GL.

What about Arch (BTW)? You can decide exactly what do you want to have there.

Bleeding edge packages are great for gaming, and it supports everything else.

I'd go for Linux Mint/Fedora Linux.

Another thing, I would've play with it first on a VM, like VirtualBox.

I wouldn't immediately wipe Windows if I were you. I'd do dualboot with Windows.

Then, when you're ready, stay with dualboot system or go full neckbeard /j
