Technically, a tamale is a calzone according to the cube rule.

They don't ALL look the same. It's just that the stuff that actually looks non-generic are either super expensive or super uncomfortable.

Gotta agree with you there. Although Korean spoons are the best!

It actually would be nice if we could replace that entire trackpad plate with something more useful, for people who use a mouse 100% of the time. Imagine like a programmable macropad or something.

Outer Wilds gave me super anxiety when playing it. Something about the time loop aspect and having to redo a bunch of stuff.

Feedly. No ads unless the news article itself is an ad lol

Yes there are several things I like:

  • Long handles prevent the part you actually hold from getting hot and they don't fall into the bowl as often when you're eating soup from a bigger bowl.
  • The length also allows you to reach things further away when eating family style meals.
  • The bowl shape is optimized for eating soup & rice. At the same time, bowl is not too deep that it is uncomfortable to eat non-soupy things.
  • Being metal lets you use the spoon to cut and scrape things, ceramic spoons are harder to use for that purpose because they're typically thicker and more rounded.

Please try putting a slice of American cheese into some shin ramyun or equivalent Korean ramyun. It is amazing. Also works with other types of instant ramen but the umami and spiciness of Korean ramyun makes the cheese flavor extra good.

Gotta agree with this. I have a big workstation machine at home for work, and a thin & light laptop that does the bare minimum that I use for travel. It's 2 lbs but still has a dedicated graphics card and good enough to do light CAD work. Everything has a practical purpose, it just depends on your specific needs.

I don't think of it as "how much does this person make". Each channel is a business, and the YouTuber is a business owner. The things they buy for videos are business expenses. Only part of the channel's income goes towards the YouTuber personally (like a salary). Some channels have actual employees they have to pay such as editors, event organizers, managers, which in turn work to make the channel bigger and earn more money.

If you think of them as businesses (companies), the fact that they're buying expensive equipment for their business makes much more sense.

Finally! Hopefully Samsung does the same thing in oneUI

Wait, what do they say about people who play minesweeper?

I'm pretty sure plenty of companies including Lenovo still make chunky workstations, no?

Yes there's a way but it's slightly convoluted. You have to use the web interface or a different app like Jerboa to disable the "Show read posts" function in your profile settings. Then, in Wefwef, once you interact with a post, by upvoting or reading it, and then if you refresh the page, the post will be hidden.

The Vader hallway scene gives me chills every time. We need more Vader badassery in live action.

Probably the best idea in this thread unless you have other more immediate needs like paying off high interest debts.

Is it only Goodwill specifically or any thrift store? Are Goodwills generally better than others?

Exactly. I don't care if it's 3.5mm or usb-c, it's the quantity of ports that matters.

Hell yes.

Too bad this doesn't mark the post as "read".

I would argue that the Cube Rule belongs in the same annals of history as any work by Plato and Aristotle.

Dang. My faucets only provide water.

Luthen's monologue in Andor. Some of the best dialogue in all of Star Wars.

Tons. I don't like super political stuff but I do like reading local news sites to know what's going on around my city and neighborhood. Also a bunch of food related sites, tech stuff...

I upvote everything just so it hides the post. Am I doing my part?

The sound of styrofoam rubbing together. Something about that specific frequency revolts me.

Yes!! And also the ability to "Favorite" communities or community groups so that they appear at the top of the list.

Yes because it's a customization option and having more options is always better IMO

This is the most enlightened comment here. OP look no further.
