I get your joke, but it's even cheaper than a "Raspberry Pi". Pi Pico, one RP2040 chip, that's basically RPi's new version of a Teensy. I just installed one in my GameCube to defeat its "BIOS" and boot from micro SD card :P

Edit: It's just one plugin, Livemarks. If you put the bookmark it creates into the bookmarks toolbar, then it becomes a drop-down menu of the headlines/RSS items. 👍

I just recently played through Terranigma! It's the third of a unofficial trilogy of similar Enix titles that I played as a child: SoulBlazer and Illusion of Gaia. Terranigma didn't make it to the USA for some reason.
It does say "Buy" and refers to a "purchase", but everyone's arguing semantics; the Terms of Service say that you are buying a limited license to download and use the software. You may have a "one-click purchase"-type option enabled?

"Wall warts" AKA AC-to-DC adapters do draw a small amount of electricity as long as they are plugged in. Unplug them when not in use.
As for the consoles, capacitors dry out and go bad even when not in use. If you power up the console at least once every few years, it is possible for the caps to "re-form" and stay useful before needing replacement.
Sadly, my previously working PS2 no longer outputs audio or video after being in storage for a few years. I haven't had time to investigate it further, but I have had several other pieces of quality Japanese electronics go bad after their supercapacitors leaked.
